Regular Seasonal Employees. The rate of pay of regular seasonal employees shall not be less than the equivalent of the minimum rate of the same classification for the permanent employee.

Regular Seasonal Employees. Regular seasonal employees are employed for seasonal work or for coverage of peak periods. During those periods when they are not required, they may be temporarily released from employment. They will not be considered "laid off" for the purpose of applying the Collective Agreement and Articles 17.02 (a), 17.05 and 17.06 of the Collective Agreement will not apply. For the purposes of Articles 17.02 (a) and 17.06, a regular seasonal employee will receive a full year credit for seniority regardless of the number of hours worked during the year. Should they not return to work within six (6) months of the end of their previous period of employment, they will be considered permanently released and "laid off" for the purpose of applying the Collective Agreement and Articles 17.02 (a), 17.05 and 17.06 of the Collective Agreement.
Regular Seasonal Employees. Employees who have attained regular-seasonal status in accor dance with Part A, Item 2.0, and continue to be employed on a seasonal basis shall be entitled to a half day's pay per day or pay for actual hours worked or held whichever is the greater, providing the employee reports for work.
Regular Seasonal Employees. A regular seasonal employee is one who is hired to work regular full-time hours for a definite and limited period of time less than twelve (12) months but at least eight (8) months in any twelve (12) month period. In order to maintain the status of a regular seasonal employee, the employee's name must remain on the rehire list to return to employment from year to year.

  • Incentive, Savings and Retirement Plans During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all incentive, savings and retirement plans, practices, policies and programs applicable generally to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies, but in no event shall such plans, practices, policies and programs provide the Executive with incentive opportunities (measured with respect to both regular and special incentive opportunities, to the extent, if any, that such distinction is applicable), savings opportunities and retirement benefit opportunities, in each case, less favorable, in the aggregate, than the most favorable of those provided by the Company and its affiliated companies for the Executive under such plans, practices, policies and programs as in effect at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or if more favorable to the Executive, those provided generally at any time after the Effective Date to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Newly Hired Employees All employees hired to an insurance eligible position must make their benefit elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. Insurance eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If employees eligible for a full Employer Contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, and do not waive medical coverage, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the employee’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year. If an employee does not choose a health plan administrator and primary care clinic by their initial effective date, but was previously covered as a dependent immediately prior to their initial effective date, they will be defaulted to the plan administrator and primary care clinic in which they were previously enrolled.

  • Personnel Selection Leave 35.6.1 Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in the Public Service, as defined in the Financial Administration Act, the Council shall grant leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Council considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
