Regulated Waste Disposal. All contaminated sharps shall be discarded as soon as feasible in sharps containers located in the facility. Sharps containers are located in the areas listed above. Regulated waste other than sharps shall be placed in appropriate containers with Red colored waste bags. Such containers are located in the Athletic Training facility taping room, and at all athletic facilities. Laundry contaminated with blood or other potentially infectious materials will be handled as little as possible. Such laundry will be placed in appropriately marked bags where it is used. This laundry will not be sorted or rinsed in the area of use. It will then be removed by the individual responsible for laundry using personal protective equipment, and washed separately in bleach. All employees who handle contaminated laundry will use personal protective equipment to prevent contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials. Post-Exposure Evaluation and Follow-Up When an employee incurs an exposure incident, it should be reported to the Head Athletic Trainer. All employees who incur an exposure will be offered post" exposure evaluation and follow-up in accordance with the OSHA standard. This follow-up will include the following: • Written documentation of the route of exposure and the circumstances related to the incident as soon as feasible following the exposure. This is to be returned to the Head Certified Athletic Trainer • If possible, the identification of the source individual and, if possible, the status of the source individual. The blood of the source individual will be tested after consent is obtained for HIV/HBV infection. • Results of testing of the source individual will be made available to the exposed employee with the exposed employee informed about the applicable laws and regulations concerning disclosure of the identity and infection of the source individual. • The employee will be offered the option of having their blood collected for testing of the employee's HIV/HBV serological status. The blood sample will be preserved for up to 90 days to allow the employee to decide if the blood should be tested for HIV serological status. However, if the employee decides before that time that testing will or will not be conducted then the appropriate action can be taken and the blood sample discarded. • The employee will be offered post-exposure prophylaxis in accordance with the current recommendations of the U.S. Public Health Service. • The employee will be ref...

Regulated Waste Disposal. Regulated waste other than sharps shall be placed in appropriate containers with RED colored waste bags. Such containers are in the Athletic Training Clinic taping room, and at all athletic facilities.
Regulated Waste Disposal. The Contractor shall dispose of all regulated waste in accordance with the FGS Poland; DoD and Navy policies, instructions and guidance; and relevant host nation laws and regulations. No on-installation disposal of regulated waste is allowed.
Regulated Waste Disposal. The Contractor shall dispose of regulated waste in accordance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and all other applicable Federal, Spanish, national and local laws, regulations and instructions, such as CFR, SOPA (ADMIN) MYPTINST 5090.1, etc. The Contractor shall provide waste stream determinations, per 40 CFR and complete Waste Stream Determination forms for each of the Contractor’s processes that generates regulated waste. Waste Stream Determination forms shall be submitted within 30 calendar days prior to start of contract performance and within 14 days of identification of any new waste stream, per Section F.

  • Waste Disposal Tenant shall store its waste either inside the Premises or within outside trash enclosures that are fully fenced and screened in compliance with all Private Restrictions, and designed for such purpose. All entrances to such outside trash enclosures shall be kept closed, and waste shall be stored in such manner as not to be visible from the exterior of such outside enclosures. Tenant shall cause all of its waste to be regularly removed from the Premises at Tenant’s sole cost. Tenant shall keep all fire corridors and mechanical equipment rooms in the Premises free and clear of all obstructions at all times.

  • TOXIC SUBSTANCES Each Contractor furnishing a toxic substance as defined by Section 875 of the Labor Law, shall provide such Authorized User with not less than two copies of a material safety data sheet, which sheet shall include for each such substance the information outlined in Section 876 of the Labor Law. Before any chemical product is used or applied on or in any building, a copy of the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet must be provided to and approved by the Authorized User agency representative.

  • Hazardous Waste The term “Hazardous Substances,” as used in this Lease shall mean pollutants, contaminants, toxic or hazardous wastes, or any other substances, the use and/or the removal of which is required or the use of which is restricted, prohibited or penalized by any “Environmental Law,” which term shall mean any federal, state or local law, ordinance or other statute of a governmental or quasi-governmental authority relating to the pollution or protection of the environment. Tenant hereby agrees that (i) no activity will be conducted on the Premises that will produce any Hazardous Substances; (ii) the Premises will not be used in any manner for the storage of any Hazardous Substances; (iii) no portion of the Premises will be used as a landfill or a dump; (iv) Tenant will not install any underground tanks of any type; (v) Tenant will not allow any surface of subsurface conditions to exist or come into existence that constitute, or with the passage of time may constitute a public or private nuisance; (vi) Tenant will not permit any hazardous Substances to be brought onto the Premises, and if so brought thereon, then the same shall be immediately removed with proper disposal, and all required clean-up procedures shall be diligently undertaken pursuant to all Environmental Laws. Landlord or Landlord’s representative shall have the right but not the obligation to enter the Premises upon reasonable notice except in case of an emergency for the purpose of ensuring compliance with all Environmental Laws. If Tenant so contaminates the Premises, then Tenant shall promptly and diligently institute proper and thorough clean-up procedures at Tenant’s sole cost, and Tenant hereby indemnifies and holds Landlord harmless from and against all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and obligations of any nature arising from or as a result of Tenant’s failure to comply with this Paragraph 48. The foregoing indemnification and the responsibilities of Tenant shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease.

  • Clean Air Act For all contracts in excess of $100,000, both parties hereby agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or requirements issued under section 306 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 1857(h), Section 508 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1368), Executive Order 11738, and Environmental Protection MPHA regulations (40 CFR Part 15).

  • Solid Waste Solid Waste collection shall be pursuant to Town regulations.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union, and the Employees recognize they are bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7, and appropriate federal acts and regulations. Any breach of these obligations may be grieved pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • Garbage Disposal You are responsible for ensuring Your and Your guests’ rubbish is removed from the Room, Building and Common Property in a timely manner and properly deposited in the communal rubbish areas allocated by Us for collection. You must use all garbage chutes according to pasted instructions near chutes.

  • Waste Borrower shall not commit or suffer any waste of the Property or make any change in the use of the Property which will in any way materially increase the risk of fire or other hazard arising out of the operation of the Property, or take any action that might invalidate or give cause for cancellation of any Policy, or do or permit to be done thereon anything that may in any way impair the value of the Property or the security of this Security Instrument. Borrower will not, without the prior written consent of Lender, permit any drilling or exploration for or extraction, removal, or production of any minerals from the surface or the subsurface of the Land, regardless of the depth thereof or the method of mining or extraction thereof.
