Training for Employees. 1. The District will provide live training to all RMM School administrators, teachers, and special education employees. The training will be conducted by someone who is qualified and has expertise in Section 504 and Title II. The training will include: a. A review of the prohibition against different treatment of students with disabilities, unless the different treatment is specifically related to requirements in a Section 504 Plan or IEP, or other educational or behavioral plan that was developed consistent with the requirements in Section 504 or the IDEA. b. A review of the District’s obligation to provide all regular and special education and related aids and services to each student with a disability necessary to provide a student with a free appropriate public education. c. A review of the District’s obligation to educate all students with disabilities in the regular educational environment to the maximum extent appropriate to the needs of each student as consistent with 34 C.F.R. § 104.34(a). d. Examples of different treatment on the basis of disability and examples of the failure to educate a student with a disability in a least restrictive environment. 2. Reporting Requirement - By July 31, 2023, the District will submit to OCR for review and approval a training plan, including handouts and the name and qualifications of the trainer(s).
Training for Employees. The university shall make this Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and Program available to its employees and members of the campus community. At the time of employeesinitial appointment or any time there is a significant change to the Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and Program impacting an employee’s workplace, and annually thereafter, the university shall provide its employees with the following information: The requirements of NYS Labor Law § 27-b; The location xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/humanresources/policies.asp of the written Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and Program; Training—both in class and on-line—that addresses: Details of the written Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and Program developed by the University and, The measures employees can take to protect themselves from such risks, including specific procedures the university has implemented to protect employees. Employees are required to complete the annual Workplace Violence Prevention training. All Workplace Violence Prevention record keeping and reporting shall be made in compliance with the then applicable laws and regulations, and SUNY policy.
Training for Employees. The SIA shall organize training to the core Group of implementation team of the OPTCL as well as end user training. Representatives from the Purchaser’s implementation project and change management teams will be involved throughout in the development of training strategy, training material design and development, standards and training delivery to ensure that change management issues are incorporated, and that training strategies and materials are aligned to the requirements of the project and as business-specific as possible.

  • Application for Employment Employee understands and agrees that, as a condition of this Agreement, Employee shall not be entitled to any employment with the Company, and Employee hereby waives any right, or alleged right, of employment or re-employment with the Company.   • Company Employees Each Party shall not, directly or indirectly solicit for employment, any employee of the other Party who has been directly involved in the performance of this Agreement during the Term and for one year after the earlier of the termination or expiration of this Agreement or the termination of such individual's employment, with the other Party.   • TIME EMPLOYEES Part-time employee means an employee whose weekly scheduled hours of work on average are less than those established in Article 25 but not less than those prescribed in the Public Service Labour Relations Act.

  • Displaced Employees In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular employees shall be laid-off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and willing to do the work of the employees laid-off. An employee who is qualified and yet unwilling to do the work shall be laid-off.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • Other Employees Except as may be required in the performance of Employee’s duties hereunder, Employee shall not cause or induce, or attempt to cause or induce, any person now or hereafter employed by the Company or any of its affiliates to terminate such employment. This obligation shall remain in effect while Employee is employed by the Company and for a period of one (1) year thereafter.

  • Student Employees A student employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work which is not ongoing. He/she is normally in the process of completing his/her post-graduate studies and is expected to return to his/her studies after an agreed employment period. The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).

  • Benefits for Part-Time Employees ‌ A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.
