Release Time President. No later than May 15 each school year, the Association shall provide written notice of the name of the BEA President for the following school year; such notice will be provided to the Assistant Superintendent and the BEA President for the following school year’s building principal. In addition, no later than April 15 in each BEA President election year, the Association shall provide in written notice the names of those candidates running for the BEA President position; such notice will be provided to the Assistant Superintendent and to each candidate’s building principal. The Board will create the duty assignment of BEA President Duty that shall be one period per school day (but never to exceed 50 minutes) for the purpose of the BEA President performing responsibilities/tasks related to that position. With sufficient written notice identified above, in the master schedule developed for the start of the school year, the Association President (one person) will be assigned to the BEA President Duty. The District will make its best effort to schedule the duty assignment as the first class period of the day, or as the last class period of the day, or before or after a teaching planning period; such scheduling decision is not grievable. If the individual holding the BEA President position changes during the school year, the Board will make a good faith effort to provide the new president with a BEA President Duty, but that BEA President Duty is not guaranteed Nothing in this Article 5.13 alters that the BEA President will continue to perform responsibilities/tasks related to the position at times other assigned BEA President Duty (e.g., grievance hearings scheduled after school hours). Release Time President. In the event the President of the USO is a member of this bargaining unit, he/she may, at the option of USO, be released from his/her assignment on at least a halftime basis and continue to receive all salary and fringe benefits. In addition, the Employer will, at USO’s request, provide a monthly transportation allowance (pursuant to section 19.1 of the MEA-PSA’s collective bargaining agreement) and insurance to the USO President if he/she is from this bargaining unit. Effective with the month the bargaining unit member takes office, the monthly cost to the Employer for the monthly transportation allowance shall be no greater than the average monthly transportation allowance for all bargaining unit members for the month that the bargaining unit member takes office as the USO President. In the event that a bargaining unit member is re-elected to another term as USO President, the maximum monthly cost to the Employer shall be no greater than the average monthly transportation allowance for all bargaining unit members for the month that starts the additional term of office as the USO President. Upon ratification of this agreement, the USO President will continue to work for the Employer in his/her permanent assignment not to exceed fifty percent (50%) on an annual basis. When there is a conflict between USO duties and the work of the Employer, the duties of the USO President will take precedence over the needs of the Employer. The Employer will designate one supervisor for the USO President. ARF’s are not required for the USO President. The USO President shall have the right to return to his/her full time position upon the completion of service as USO President subject to the elimination of the position or being bumped during layoff or reorganization.

  • College President The "College President" is the Chief Executive Officer of the College.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice Presidents, if any, shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, shall be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President.

  • Chairman An individual (who need not be a Registered Warrantholder) designated in writing by the Warrant Agent shall be chairman of the meeting and if no individual is so designated, or if the individual so designated is not present within fifteen minutes from the time fixed for the holding of the meeting, the Registered Warrantholders present in person or by proxy shall choose an individual present to be chairman.

  • Union President The Union President or one (1) designated representative except where noted below, up to two (2) designated representatives shall be granted release time from regular City duties to attend the following meetings:  To attend Civil Service Commission meetings when matters affecting the Union are considered.  To attend City Council meetings when matters affecting the Union are considered.  To attend Federated Retirement Board meetings.  To attend administrative grievance meetings when used to facilitate settling of administrative grievances.  To attend Benefit Review Forum meetings (up to two
