Remedy for non-payment. If a nurse is not in compliance with the provisions in this section, the Association will notify the nurse in writing that he/she is delinquent in the satisfaction of his/her obligations, and will provide a copy of the notice to the Employee and Labor Relations Manager of the Medical Center. The Association will allow the nurse a reasonable period of time of not less than twenty (20) days to cure the delinquency. If the nurse fails to cure within the allotted time, then the Association may contact the Employee and Labor Relations Manager for the purpose of proceeding with termination of employment. Should a termination occur, a duly authorized representative of the Association will be present for the termination proceeding.
Remedy for non-payment. If Lessee should fail to pay any Taxes, assessments, or governmental charges required to be paid by Lessee hereunder, in addition to any other remedies provided herein, Lessor may, if Lessor so elects, pay such Taxes, assessments and governmental charges. Any sums so paid by Lessor shall be deemed to be so much additional rental owing by Lessee to Lessor and due and payable upon demand as additional rental plus interest at the maximum rate of interest allowed by law from the date of payment by Lessor until repaid by Xxxxxx. Any and all remedies that are set out herein for the late payment of rents may also be exercised by Lessor in relation to late payments of any Taxes, assessments, or governmental charges required to be paid by Lessee hereunder.

The Medical Center will terminate the employment of such nurse only after receiving written notice from the Association that the nurse is delinquent, so long as the nurse has also been sent two written notices from the Association prior to the request to terminate employment. The Medical Center will terminate the employment of the nurse no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving the written notice from the Association.

If the Hospitalist fails to cure within the allotted time, then the Association may contact the designee of the Employer for the purpose of proceeding with termination of employment. The Medical Center will terminate an employee after 29 receiving written notice from the Association that the employee is 30 delinquent, so long as such discharge is lawful. The Medical Center 31 will terminate the employee no later than seven (7) days after 32 receiving the written notice from the Association.
