Required Training - Range, CPR and First Aid/CIP Maintenance. As an express term and condition of employment, all personnel covered by this Agreement shall, on their own time, comply with CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid Training certification requirements and the Department of Correction's range qualification requirements. This time shall not be counted as time worked nor shall it be compensated for in any way except for Career Incentive Program credit effective November 30, 2020. This time shall be excluded from the CIP Program. Maximum CIP credit for range qualification time shall not exceed eight (8) hours per year. Failure to comply shall be grounds for discipline in accordance with Department of Correction's disciplinary procedures. If under the Fair Labor Standards Act it is determined that the above training cannot be completed on the employee's own time then no CIP credit shall be given and he/she shall be compensated for his/her time. As an express term and condition of employment, all personnel covered by this Agreement who are authorized to carry firearms shall on their own time comply with State mandated firearm training/certification requirements. Although all efforts will be made to ensure that employees assigned to the Custody Bureau complete this training on-duty, failure of the County to schedule the training during on-duty hours or to pay for this training does not otherwise relieve Custody Bureau employees of their responsibility to ensure they comply with State standards and Sheriff’s Office policy. Failure to comply may be grounds for discipline in accordance with Sheriff's Office's disciplinary procedures. If under the Fair Labor Standards Act it is determined that the above range training/qualification cannot be completed on the employee's own time, then no CIP credit shall be given and he/she shall be compensated for his/her time. Maximum CIP credit for range qualification time shall not exceed eight (8) hours per year. Failure to comply with the above-required training shall be grounds for discipline in accordance with Sheriff's Department's disciplinary procedures.   • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Equipment Testing and Inspection 2.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall test and inspect its Small Generating Facility and Interconnection Facilities prior to interconnection. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the NYISO and the Connecting Transmission Owner of such activities no fewer than five Business Days (or as may be agreed to by the Parties) prior to such testing and inspection. Testing and inspection shall occur on a Business Day. The Connecting Transmission Owner may, at its own expense, send qualified personnel to the Small Generating Facility site to inspect the interconnection and observe the testing. The Interconnection Customer shall provide the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner a written test report when such testing and inspection is completed. The Small Generating Facility may not commence parallel operations if the NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, finds that the Small Generating Facility has not been installed as agreed upon or may not be operated in a safe and reliable manner.

CONTRACTOR shall require such employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement to sign a statement acknowledging the child abuse reporting requirements set forth in Sections 11166 and 11166.05 of the Penal Code and the dependent adult and elder abuse reporting requirements, as set forth in Section 15630 of the WIC, and shall comply with the provisions of these code sections, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
