Resident Selection. All Residents must be experiencing Homelessness or At Risk of Homelessness, with an Income at or less than HILs and must be placed in a Residential Unit appropriate to their household size, as determined by BC Housing from time to time.
Resident Selection. The Provider will select Residents in accordance with the Specific Purpose. The Provider will use all reasonable efforts to maintain full occupancy of the Development with Residents who meet the Specific Purpose, but if there are no applicants for a vacant unit in accordance with the Specific Purpose then the Provider may accept applicants at any income level with the approval of BC Housing which will not be unreasonably withheld.

The principle of Income blending is to be followed at the Development by selecting Residents with a range of Low and Moderate Incomes to ensure balanced Rent revenues are received.
Resident Selection. Prior to selecting residents, Grantor shall submit to Landlord a copy of a resident selection criteria consistent with the Project Documents and approved by DHCD in writing, referred to as the “Resident Selection Criteria ”, also referred to as a “Tenant Selection Plan” and as a “Resident Selection Plan.” The Resident Selection Criteria shall provide for up to a 70% local preference for: (a) Current residents of Amherst: A household in which one or more members is living in Amherst at the time of the application, (b) Municipal employees: Employees of Amherst, such as teachers, janitors, firefighters, police officers, librarians, or town hall employees, (c) Employees of Local Businesses: Employees of businesses located in Amherst, and (d) Households with children attending Amherst’s schools. These four subcategories counted together for the purposes of assessing the 70% local preference) to the extent permissible by the project’s funders and under all present and future laws, ordinances, orders, rules, regulations and requirements of all federal, state and municipal governments, departments, authorities, boards and officers, which may be applicable to the Premises, or to the use or manner of use of the same by any of the Grantor (the “Legal Requirements”); provided, however, without limiting the generality of the foregoing limitation of the Project’s funders and the Legal Requirements, said local preference shall only be 50% with respect to those Units assisted by a project based rent voucher through DHCD, pursuant to the requirements of DHCD. Grantor shall select tenants for the Units in a fair and impartial manner, based on the Resident Selection Criteria, which shall be made available to such tenants upon
Resident Selection. Prior to selecting the tenants, Grantor shall submit to the Town a Tenant Selection Plan, prepared by Grantor in accordance with the Comprehensive Permit Rules and approved by DHCD, and, to the extent not subject to DHCD’s review, approved by the Town. Tenant shall select tenants for the Low Income Units in a fair and impartial manner, based on the Tenant Selection Plan, which shall be made available to such tenants upon request. Such Tenant Selection Plan must comply with any and all applicable laws, rules, regulations and bylaws, including the Comprehensive Permit Rules.
Resident Selection. All women and their dependent children, who are At Risk of Violence or have experienced Violence and have Incomes at or below the HILs are eligible for housing at the Development. Eligibility requirements may be temporarily amended to accommodate an adult male occupant within an eligible household if required, provided this does not pose safety risks to the other Residents or staff and as approved by BC Housing.

The parties acknowledge that the provisions of the Resident Selection Criteria are subject to approval by DHCD and HUD and must comply with any and all applicable laws, rules, regulations and bylaws.
Resident Selection. Prior to selecting residents, Tenant shall establish that its resident selection policies and criteria for the affordable rental housing facility are consistent with the RFP, (the resident selection policies and criteria approved by the Landlord are hereinafter referred to as the “Resident Selection Criteria”). The Resident Selection Criteria shall provide for a preference for residents of the Town of Wareham, to the extent allowed by Legal Requirements. Tenant shall select tenants for the Premises in a fair and impartial manner, based on the Resident Selection Criteria, which shall be made available to such tenants upon request.
