RIGHTS AND RECOGNITION. The Town recognizes the Union as the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, hours, and other conditions of employment of its full- time members of the Fire Department engaged in firefighting, fire prevention, training, rescue, fire alarm and communication and motor vehicle equipment maintenance who are in either permanent or probationary pay status excluding, however, the Chief of the Department.
