Scheduling Standby. (a) i) Standby/On call will be utilized in those units presently using such measures. The Union will be notified of any units that are commencing standby/on call.

Scheduling Standby. The Hospital agrees to request for qualified volunteers to be placed on call. If there are insufficient volunteers, the Hospital will schedule the employees based on reverse order of rotating seniority. Employees who do not have a minimum of one (1) year of service with the Hospital will not be placed on call and are considered unqualified for the purposes of on call.
Scheduling Standby a) The Supervisor shall be responsible for scheduling standby duties as equitably as possible having regard for safety and experience. b) Where there is a need for Standby that was not originally scheduled, the Company shall first canvass for volunteers in the area, and then, if necessary, in surrounding areas.
