Scope of Committee. The JNCC is authorised to consider and negotiate on all matters specified in Clauses 6.3 and 6.4 of the Recognition and Procedural Agreement.
Scope of Committee. The Committee shall be co-chaired by an employer and union representative. The purpose of the meetings shall be to exchange information of mutual interest and to maintain effective union/management relations and to expedite union/management concerns. All minutes of the Safety Committee will be distributed to the Labour Management Committee.
Scope of Committee. The committee may discuss matters of interest to either party and make recommendations to the union and the employer. However, the committee shall have no authority to alter a collective bargaining agreement, to engage in collective bargaining, or to adjust or resolve grievances.
Scope of Committee. The Committee shall:
(a) not have jurisdiction over any matter contained in this Collective Agreement, including its administration or renegotiation; and
(b) not have the power to bind the Union or its members, or the Employer to any decision or conclusion reached in discussion; and
(c) not supersede the activities of any other committee or the Union or of the Employer.
Scope of Committee. 4.1 The JCC shall consider and consult with a view to reaching an agreement and to enter into consultation with a view to reaching agreement on those matters specified in Clause 7.3 of the Recognition and Procedural Agreement.
4.2 The JCC may also consider the outcomes of other Trust processes for gathering employee feedback such as annual staff questionnaires.
Scope of Committee. Without restricting the generality of Section 8.2(a), the Committee shall deal with problems flowing from the following:
(1) occupational health and safety;
(2) planned changes in business operations;
(3) the creation of new job classifications;
(4) job training program;
(5) job descriptions; A special subcommittee may be established to deal with sensitive or confidential matters; and any other provision in which the Committee is referred to in the collective agreement.
Scope of Committee. 4.1. The JCC is authorised to consider and consult with a view to reaching an agreement on those matters specified in Clause 9.3 of the Recognition and Procedural Agreement.
Scope of Committee. When necessary, the Committee will make recommendations to the Union and the Company on the issues it discusses. Communications based on the Committee’s work will be approved by mutual agreement.
Scope of Committee. The committee may discuss the subjects of this agreement, its administration, health and safety, human resources, care of patients and other items of interest. Nothing in this Article shall create any obligation on the parties, other than to afford each the opportunity to be heard concerning items of concern. The committee shall have no power to amend, modify or supplement the terms of this agreement or to adopt, alter or amend the policies or practices of the Employer.
Scope of Committee. The committees will discuss the subjects of adjunct and part-time employment, distance learning, and other items of mutual interest. The committees will review and study such information and materials regarding distance learning as is presented by the United Faculty. The committees will also review and study the function of college committees relating to tenure, promotion and retention recommendations. The committees shall have no power to amend, modify or supplement the terms of this Agreement or to adopt, alter or amend the policies or practices of the Employer.
1. The Board and the United Faculty are parties to a Master Agreement covering the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2005.
2. The parties have agreed to place language relating to a College Committee in the Memorandum of Agreement.
