Secretaries/Clerks a. Full time secretaries shall work five (5), eight (8) hour days per week exclusive of a 30 minute unpaid duty-free lunch and a 10 minute work break per day. Full time clerks shall work five (5) seven (7) hour days per week exclusive of lunch and a 10 minute work break per day. b. Building/site hours shall be determined by the employer. Accommodation may be made for secretarial/clerical employees to flex beginning and ending hours at a site at the supervisor's discretion. c. The work year for each employee classification shall be as shown in Article XIV, Compensation. d. It shall be the goal of the administration to eliminate the unnecessary dispensing of medication to students. The Board will indemnify and protect employees against claims and suits arising while acting under the direction of the Board within the course or scope of his/her duties as specified in Illinois School Code, Section10-20.

Secretaries/Clerks. 1. The workday will consist of eight (8) hours inclusive of a sixty (60) minute duty-free lunch period. All secretaries/clerks will be scheduled by their respective supervisor. 2. Immediately upon the closing of school for students in June, until school opening in September, the normal workday will consist of seven (7) hours, inclusive of a sixty (60) minute duty free lunch period. 3. Xxxxxxxxxxx and clerical staff whose employment has continued for three (3) consecutive academic years, together with employment at the beginning of the next succeeding academic year, an academic year being the period between the time when school opens in the district after the general summer vacation and the beginning of the next succeeding summer vacation, will be provided tenure under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:17-2. 4. During the pupil school year, the principal has the option to release secretaries/clerks up to thirty (30) minutes prior to the normal closing time on Fridays, and on any full school day prior to a school vacation closing.

The method of compensation will be determined by the secretary/clerk by filling out the appropriate time sheet and having it signed by the employee’s immediate supervisor. 4. Secretaries/Clerks a. Director/Principal Absences. The director or principal shall inform the secretary of the identity of the certified employee to be responsible for the activities of the office or school during any absence of a significant duration by the director or principal from the office or building so such information can be disseminated to interested parties. b. Secretarial Responsibilities. Secretarial employees shall only be assigned duties that are reasonably within the scope of their classifications and are not expected to have ongoing responsibility for student discipline.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member. In the case of the death, disability or absence of the President, a Vice President shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of the President until the Member appoints a new President.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurers The Board, in its discretion, may elect a Treasurer and one or more Assistant Treasurers. The Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept the books of account of the Company and shall render statements of the financial affairs of the Company in such form and as often as required by this Agreement, the Board or a President. The Treasurer, subject to the order of the Board, shall have the custody of all funds and securities of the Company. The Treasurer shall perform all other duties commonly incident to his office and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as this Agreement, the Board or a President, shall designate from time to time. The Assistant Treasurers shall exercise the power of the Treasurer during that Officer’s absence or inability or refusal to act. Each of the Assistant Treasurers shall possess the same power as the Treasurer to sign all certificates, contracts, obligations and other instruments of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.

  • Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and shall, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser, sub-adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President. Any Assistant Treasurer shall have such duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or the President.

  • Assistant Professor An Assistant Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications: (a) A doctoral degree; (b) Aptitude for teaching university students. The doctoral requirement may be waived if the Candidate has a record of suitable teaching, scholarship as defined in Article 1.1(n); or, in lieu of such a record, has professional qualifications and experience to enable him/her to make an appropriate academic contribution to the University.

  • President and Vice Presidents The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Trust. The president shall, subject to the control of the Trustees, have general charge and supervision of the business of the Trust. Any vice president shall have such duties and powers as shall be designated from time to time by the Trustees.
