Journeymen An Employee who holds a certification of qualification for his/her respective trade in accordance to the Alberta Apprenticeship, Training and Certification Act (or its successor).
Journeyman GROUP I: All applicants for employment who have three and one-half (3½) or more years of experience in the trade, are residents of the geographical area constituting the normal construction labor market, have passed a Journeyman's examination given by a duly constituted Outside Local Union of the I.B.E.W., and who have been employed for a period of at least one (1) year in the last three and one-half (3½) years in the geographical area covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
Seniority Rosters Quarterly, the Employer shall prepare a roster of all bargaining unit employees in an institution, geographic jurisdiction or Agency as appropriate. The roster will list employees in descending order of State seniority credits and will contain each employee’s name, State seniority credits, and Institutional seniority credits if applicable. Seniority rosters will be provided to the Chapter President or Assembly President and posted in the work areas of affected employees. Where available, the Employer may provide an electronic posting of the roster in lieu of a paper roster. Each employee’s individual employee seniority credits will be displayed on the employee’s earnings statement.
Seniority Roster The District shall maintain an updated seniority roster, indicating employee's class seniority and hire date seniority. Such rosters shall be available to CSEA.
Wage Scale The wages shown in Appendix A will be part of this Agreement.
Wage Scales 27.1 Upon request, with reasonable notice, the City will provide an accurate amount of the individual employee's accumulated sick leave, holiday and vacation credits.
Junior Rates The wage rates for a junior employee shall be determined on the basis of the following age related percentages: 16 years of age and under 60% 17 years of age 70% 18 years of age 80% 19 years of age 90% 20 years of age and over 100% Provided that store managers under 20 years of age will be paid adult rates of pay.
Seniority Tie Breaker The Employer and the Union agree that where there is a tie in seniority between two (2) or more Employees, a determination of seniority shall be made in the following manner:
Seniority Retention Laid off employees shall retain their seniority accumulated up to the time of layoff as follows:
SENIORITY Section A: Definition of Seniority Seniority means an employee's length of continuous service with the Employer since his/her last date of hire. County-wide seniority means the period of continuous service since the last hire date of a regular employee covered by this collective bargaining agreement. The Union will be furnished a seniority list of employees in this bargaining unit upon request.
