Special Education Transportation. A. Drivers transporting special education students will be paid on a Charter Run rate as outlined in this agreement. B. Special education drivers pay rate may change at any time because of state mandated requirements. Accordingly pay adjustments may be necessary. If pay adjustments become necessary the district will determine a new per run rate.

Special Education Transportation. ParaEducators assigned by the employer to ride special education transportation before and after school will be paid a $1.25 per hour premium for the actual time in riding supervision responsibilities. Field trips and other school day trips are exempt from this pay consideration.
Special Education Transportation. The Transportation Department is dedicated to meeting the needs of all students. Appropriate equipment is used, and drivers receive training and instructions for working with students with disabilities. ● Have student ready for pick up before schedule bus arrival; ● Adhere to the use of any safety equipment necessary for student’s safety while being transported; ● If the student is absent from school, call the Transportation Department before 7 a.m. at 000-000-0000. This number is available 24 hours a day. Please leave a message when office staff is not available. ● After three consecutive days of absences without any parent contact to the Transportation Department, bus service may be interrupted. To resume services, parents must contact the Transportation Department. ● Any request for change of pickup or drop-off location must be cleared through the Transportation Department with a three-day notice. ● When deemed necessary due to age or physical disability, parents must accompany their child to and from the bus. Parents will place their child in the seat and fasten the seat belt. If the parent or their designee fails to meet the bus at the end of the school day, the Transportation Department will return the child to school or the local police station. DCFS may be notified if there are repeated offenses. ● A minimum of three days will be necessary to arrange transportation for each new student entering during the year. School social workers support teachers, parents, and students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns that may impact learning. Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational & Physical Therapy, Hearing & Vision Services, and Adaptive Physical Education are some of the related services that may be provided as deemed necessary by the IEP team. Medicaid reimbursement is a source of federal funds approved by Congress to help school districts maintain and improve special education services. If Medicaid eligible, therapy and diagnostic services provided to children are partially reimbursable. Unless the parent/guardian objects in writing, District U-46 will claim Medicaid reimbursement for services provided. These claims will have no impact on the family’s ability to receive Medicaid funding either now or in the future. Related to Special Education Transportation

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund effective January 1st, 2013 and each year thereafter, two thousand ($2,000.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave. Dependent Contractors on such leave will continue to accrue seniority and benefits during such leave.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.
