Supervision Responsibilities. 40.01 It is not the intent of the Board for any OCTU member to be responsible for the appraisal and growth process for another OCTU member.

Supervision Responsibilities. Supervision time is defined as the time Teachers are assigned to supervise students outside of the three hundred (300) minute instructional day. The Principal shall distribute supervision responsibilities equitably in consultation with the Teachers concerned.
(i) The Board shall ensure that no Teacher be assigned supervision duties in excess of eighty (80) minutes per five (5) instructional days.
(ii) Elementary Teachers shall be available to students in their classroom fifteen (15) minutes prior to the first scheduled class of the day. Such time shall not constitute supervision/on-call or instructional time. Any assigned supervision duty during the times as outlined above, such as but not limited to, bus duty, hall duty and/or yard duty shall constitute supervision/on-call time for the purpose of the minutes of supervision/on- call maxima as set out herein.

Supervision Responsibilities. The Organisation must ensure that the Student is supervised while they are attending the WIL site of the Organisation. The Organisation must ensure that staff supervising the Student are qualified and experienced and that the tasks and responsibilities assigned are appropriate to the Student’s skills and experience. The Organisation must ensure that during the WIL activity UNSW is able on request to inspect the WIL site and meet with the Student and any supervisor as it reasonably requires.

The parties hereby acknowledge that, if so indicated in a Statement of Work, then while performing the services or producing the deliverables subject to this Agreement, Provider personnel, if any, shall be under the day-to-day supervision and direction of Client and Provider’s obligation under this Agreement will be to furnish Client with trained and skilled personnel to work under the direction of Client toward the completion of any services or deliverables within the broad description of the Statement of Work. Otherwise, Provider shall be responsible for supervising its personnel, if any, or providing the services and/or deliverables specified in the attached Statement of Work directly.

(iii) Effective September 1, 2010, the Board shall ensure that no Teacher be assigned supervision duties in excess of eighty (80) minutes per five (5) instructional days.

(v) A Teacher with less than one (1) FTE assignment shall have his or her assigned supervision pro-rated.
(i) By October 1, the Board shall provide to the Unit a copy of the schedules showing when preparation and planning times and lunch times are scheduled for all elementary schools for the current school year.
(ii) If there is a dispute with respect to any of the aforementioned timetables, the parties shall meet within fifteen (15) calendar days following receipt of the schedules by the Teachers to discuss the matter. If the issue(s) remains unresolved by November 1, unless agreed otherwise by the parties in writing, either party may refer the matter within ten (10) days thereafter to arbitration.

i) Effective October 15, 2005 aa)that no teacher shall be assigned supervision duties in excess of one hundred and twenty (120) minutes for each period of five (5) instructional days and bb)that at least some of the Teachers who, prior to October 15, 2005, were assigned supervision of one hundred and twenty (120) minutes or more for each period of five (5) instructional days will be assigned less than one hundred and twenty (120) minutes of supervision for each period of five (5) instructional days.
