Specialist Allowance. A Specialist Allowance will be paid to any teacher who has successfully completed a second Specialist course, provided that the first Specialist course placed them at the Category 4 level on the Salary Grid. If the second Special course is required to place the teacher in Category 4 on the Grid, he/she will not be entitled to the allowance. The allowance will become effective at the start of the school year following completion of the course. A teacher receiving this allowance will not be entitled to the summer school allowance or reimbursement from the Professional Development Fund for taking this course. The allowance must be applied for within sixty (60) days from the start of the school year. The yearly allowance shall be as follows: September 1, 2008 $525. September 1, 2009 $541. September 1, 2010 $557 September 1 2011 $574 5.06 - Cree Allowance A yearly allowance shall be paid to Teachers who speak and/or write fluently in Cree. Fluency will be expected at a level whereby the language can be used in a practical sense within the school environment. Entitlement to this allowance shall be upon the Board approved recommendation of a committee selected by the Parties. This level of fluency will be determined by a mutually agreed upon external party. This allowance shall be as follows: September 1, 2008 $1050. Specialist Allowance. An additional annual amount of six hundred and forty-four ($644) will be paid to teachers holding and using the following Specialist Certificates: Religious Education, Special Education, French-as-a-Second Language and Native-as-a-Second Language.. The allowance will not be paid if the certificate has been used to assist in a change of category. The intent is that no teacher will be paid twice for the same certificate. The amount shall be increased to $663 effective September 1,2009, $683 effective September 1, 2010, and $703 effective September 1, 2011.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Footwear Allowance The Company will reimburse full-time employees up to fifty ($50.00) dollars per year toward the cost of footwear upon presentation of a receipt. Eligible employees will receive reimbursement for footwear upon completion of six (6) months' service. Once employees have received the footwear allowance, they must wear such footwear during work hours.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.
