Split Shift Differential. A split-shift is defined as a work schedule which is interrupted by non-paidnonworking periods established by the District, other than bona fide rest ormeal periods. Unit members with fifty (50) percent or more of their assigned work shift commencing after 9:30 P.M. and prior to 8:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential of four (4) percent above their regular rate of pay for all hours worked. Unit members who receive a shift differential premium shall not lose such differential premium when assigned temporarily to a different shift.
