Differential Compensation. A. Assignment to positions for which differential compensation is provided, whether monetary or in the form of a reduced work shift, shall be made on the basis of seniority among those within the appropriate class. This policy notwithstanding, temporary assignment of less than twenty (20) working days shall be made at the pleasure of the administration.

Differential Compensation. An employee who is assigned and works the third shift shall receive a twenty-five cent (.25) per hour shift differential. Differential Compensation. 8.5.1 All positions, the regularly assigned time of which requires the incumbents to work halftime or more between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid at a rate that is five percent (5%) higher than the rate that they would receive as day-time employees in that class.
