Differential Compensation. A. Assignment to positions for which differential compensation is provided, whether monetary or in the form of a reduced work shift, shall be made on the basis of seniority among those within the appropriate class. This policy notwithstanding, temporary assignment of less than twenty (20) working days shall be made at the pleasure of the administration.
B. No employee assigned to work in a position entitled to differential compensation shall be demoted in class or grade as a result of such assignment.
C. An employee regularly assigned to a position entitled to receive differential compensation shall continue to receive it, provided he/she works twenty (20) days or less in a position not entitled to differential compensation
Differential Compensation. An employee who is assigned and works the third shift shall receive a twenty-five cent (.25) per hour shift differential. A shift lead custodian or third shift employee who is temporarily assigned a different shift shall continue to receive differential pay while on temporary shift change. Shift differential shall apply to all paid time.
Differential Compensation. All employees that work seven (7) or more hours will be paid a five percent (5%) differential if their shift begins on or after 12:30 p.m.
Differential Compensation. Consistent with Education Code Section 88182, the Parties 36 acknowledge that ongoing public health conditions and the vaccination verification transition 37 period present unique working conditions for classified staff performing in-person services. 38 The District agrees to provide differential compensation to eligible unit members in the amount 39 of $50 per full day of assigned work. This differential shall be applied without regard to whether 40 straight-time and/or overtime compensation is earned during that workday or whether a unit 41 member works only a portion of their regular assignment. 42
Differential Compensation.
8.5.1 All positions, the regularly assigned time of which requires the incumbents to work halftime or more between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid at a rate that is five percent (5%) higher than the rate that they would receive as day-time employees in that class. Unit members working less than four (4) hours between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid this differential for each hour so worked, in hourly increments, to the greater hour.
8.5.2 Unit members shall not lose their differential compensation if they are temporarily, for twenty (20) working days or less, assigned to a shift not entitled to such differential compensation. In those cases where a unit member is assigned for more than twenty (20) working days to a shift not entitled to differential compensation, he/she shall continue to receive the shift differential for the first twenty (20) working days.
Differential Compensation. In addition to the regular compensation paid to each employee, differential compensation shall be weekly in accordance with the following schedule: Shift Amount Evening $35 Midnight $50
Differential Compensation. Subd. 1. All high schools and middle schools shall be classified as Secondary School food service operations. All elementary schools shall be classified as Elementary School food service operations.
Differential Compensation. A work day will be broken into three work periods and Employees working other than the daytime work period (B line) will be recognized for pay purposes to be within the work period wherein over sixty percent (60%) of the working hours are set:
Differential Compensation. During each school year when an employee has exhausted all available sick leave, including all accumulated sick leave, and continues to be absent from his/her duties on account of illness or accident for an additional period of five (5) school months whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of the employment of the employee, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her for any of the additional five (5) months in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the long- term substitute rate paid at Step 1/Column 1 of the Certificated Salary Schedule. If no substitute employee was employed, the daily substitute rate would be deducted. The sick leave, including accumulated sick leave, in the five (5) month period shall run consecutively. An employee shall not be provided more than one five (5) month period per illness or accident. However, if the school year terminates before the five (5) month period is exhausted, the employee may take the balance of the five (5) month period in a subsequent school year.
