SRO Supervisors. SRO Supervisors provide first line leadership and are tasked with specific duties, which include, but are not limited to: • Provide timely notifications to the RCPS Site Safety and Security Supervisor regarding matters related to RCPS building safety and student safety to the RCPS Assistant Superintendent of Equity and Student Services. • At the request of a school principal, SRO supervisors should attend Parent Teacher Association meetings, on a case-by-case basis to discuss significant issues effecting the school community. • Provide supervision and assistance with problem solving and development opportunities for SROs. • Provide planning, budget, management, and agency leadership for the SRO Program. • SRO Supervisors shall meet with their SROs on a continual basis at their schools to observe their performance of duty. • SRO Supervisors shall meet with school principals before the start of, and throughout the school year. • SRO Supervisors shall mitigate conflicts and/or clarify expectations in situations where there are ambiguous or overlapping policies or practices. • Ensure initial and relevant recurrent training for SROs. • Act as a resource consistent with the RCPS District-Wide Emergency Response Plan. • Ensure staffing for each school is provided in the event that the assigned SRO is absent. • SRO Supervisors shall undergo training in trauma-engagement, restorative justice, cultural competence, mental health and disability awareness. This training will be provided by RCPS staff.

SRO Supervisors. 1. At no time shall the Principal supervise an SRO as the POLICING AGENCIES retains control and supervision over the SROs. 2. Each involved law enforcement agency will appoint a designated supervisor for its respective SROs. An SRO roster, including supervisor(s), shall be provided to PGCPS on an annual basis, preferably before the start of each school calendar year, or as needed if personnel should change. This list should include current contact information; i.e., work cell/office telephone numbers and an e-mail address for each SRO and supervisor. 3. Shall provide each principal with the name and contact information of the Police Commander; Supervising Officer and all SROs assigned his/her School.

  • WORK BY SUPERVISORS Supervisors and all other excluded employees will not work on any job for which rates are established by this agreement, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, safety or environ- mental reasons or when regular employees are not available.

  • Supervisors Supervisors may continue to perform bargaining unit work which is incidental to their jobs. They may also perform bargaining unit work in emergency situations and where such work is necessary to train a covered member. Such work by supervisors may result from but shall not cause any layoffs of covered members.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Immediate Supervisor The first (1st) District-designated supervisor or manager not within the same bargaining unit who has immediate jurisdiction over the grievant.

  • Supervisor Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance. Three copies of the departmental grievance form shall be completed by the employee stating the nature of the grievance and the remedy requested from his/her departmental Management. The employee shall submit two copies to his/her immediate supervisor and retain the third copy.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cooperation with supervisory authorities 1. The data exporter agrees to deposit a copy of this contract with the supervisory authority if it so requests or if such deposit is required under the applicable data protection law. 2. The parties agree that the supervisory authority has the right to conduct an audit of the data importer, and of any subprocessor, which has the same scope and is subject to the same conditions as would apply to an audit of the data exporter under the applicable data protection law. 3. The data importer shall promptly inform the data exporter about the existence of legislation applicable to it or any subprocessor preventing the conduct of an audit of the data importer, or any subprocessor, pursuant to paragraph 2. In such a case the data exporter shall be entitled to take the measures foreseen in Clause 5 (b).
