Board of Education If the teacher or the Association is not satisfied with the decision at Stage 2, the teacher or the Grievance Committee will file an appeal in writing with the Board of Education within fifteen school days after receiving the decision at Stage 2.
Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training
In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.
Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.
BOARD OF EDUCATION RIGHTS 3.1 The Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the District, hereby retains and reserves unto itself, without limitation, all powers, rights, authority, duties, and responsibilities conferred upon and vested in it by the Laws and Constitution of the State of Michigan, and/or the United States, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the right to:

Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.
Standards of Service In connection with the performance of any Services pursuant to this Agreement: 7.1 Number of Employees Contractor warrants it will provide sufficient employees to complete the Services ordered within the applicable time frames established pursuant to this Agreement. Furthermore, Contractor shall, at its expense, supply all tools, equipment, and other materials necessary to perform the Services contemplated in this Agreement. 7.2 Skill of Employees Contractor warrants that employees shall have sufficient skill, knowledge, and training to perform the Services and that the Services shall be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.
Standards of Conduct Whenever the Member is required or permitted to make a decision, take or approve an action, or omit to do any of the foregoing, then the Member shall be entitled to consider only such interests and factors, including its own, as it desires, and shall have no duty or obligation to consider any other interests or factors whatsoever. To the extent that the Member has, at law or in equity, duties (including, without limitation, fiduciary duties) to the Company or other person bound by the terms of this Agreement, the Member acting in accordance with the Agreement shall not be liable to the Company or any such other person for its good faith reliance on the provisions of this Agreement. The provisions of this Agreement, to the extent that they restrict the duties of the Member otherwise existing at law or in equity, replace such other duties to the greatest extent permitted under applicable law.
Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.
