Standards of Education. The UNIVERSITY shall retain ultimate responsibility for the education program and maintenance of the standards of instruction. The program and standards provided will be of a form and type sufficient to meet the requirements for university credits and accreditation, as well as the requirements for the applicable State Board of Nursing and regulatory bodies. UNIVERSITY shall provide for continuous planning for students in cooperation with appropriate nursing staff of the AFFILIATE. The UNIVERSITY shall be responsible for notifying AFFILIATE of any loss or reduction of accreditation, licensing and credentials of the UNIVERSITY, its personnel and/or students.

Standards of Education. The Parties intend for the Practicum to comprise broad training and education in relevant field(s) of study to satisfy the purposes and goals of the Institution’s program. The training and education will meet the requirements for Institution credits and accreditation by applicable regulatory bodies.
Standards of Education. Xxxxxxxx Community High will provide well-qualified and expert staff that will carefully plan all lessons and activities. Students will be fully prepared for examinations and all students will have access to the full range of studies. We expect our students to work hard and to the best of their ability in all the activities they undertake. Students should be prepared to participate in as wide a range of activities as they can. They should also use all the opportunities available to them to develop their basic skills and to become independent learners. Homework is an essential part of a good education and tasks will be regularly set to extend and support students’ learning. We ask parents/guardians to ensure homework is completed regularly in a quiet area at home. You will receive information about the amount of homework that can be expected, how to support your child and what to do if there are difficulties. “Xxxxxxxx Community High School expects students to attend on a daily basis throughout the school year and be punctual in their attendance. The school will be open to receive pupils throughout the school year unless by special arrangement and as part of the curriculum this being notified to parents/guardians in writing as soon as practicable and not less than 1 week in advance. Where exceptional circumstances necessitate the closure of the school at short/no notice this will only be done following consultation with Governors and in the interests of the health and safety of the staff and students.” Parents/guardians are reminded that it is your responsibility to ensure your child arrives at school and to inform the school when your child is absent.

Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • BOARD OF EDUCATION RIGHTS 3.1 The Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the District, hereby retains and reserves unto itself, without limitation, all powers, rights, authority, duties, and responsibilities conferred upon and vested in it by the Laws and Constitution of the State of Michigan, and/or the United States, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the right to:

  • Standards of Service In connection with the performance of any Services pursuant to this Agreement: 7.1 Number of Employees Contractor warrants it will provide sufficient employees to complete the Services ordered within the applicable time frames established pursuant to this Agreement. Furthermore, Contractor shall, at its expense, supply all tools, equipment, and other materials necessary to perform the Services contemplated in this Agreement. 7.2 Skill of Employees Contractor warrants that employees shall have sufficient skill, knowledge, and training to perform the Services and that the Services shall be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.

  • Standards of Conduct Whenever the Member is required or permitted to make a decision, take or approve an action, or omit to do any of the foregoing, then the Member shall be entitled to consider only such interests and factors, including its own, as it desires, and shall have no duty or obligation to consider any other interests or factors whatsoever. To the extent that the Member has, at law or in equity, duties (including, without limitation, fiduciary duties) to the Company or other person bound by the terms of this Agreement, the Member acting in accordance with the Agreement shall not be liable to the Company or any such other person for its good faith reliance on the provisions of this Agreement. The provisions of this Agreement, to the extent that they restrict the duties of the Member otherwise existing at law or in equity, replace such other duties to the greatest extent permitted under applicable law.

  • Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.
