Step II – Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Step I, the grievant and/or the Association shall appeal the decision to the Superintendent within seven (7) days of receiving the Step I decision. The Superintendent shall conduct a meeting with the grievant and/or the Association within seven (7) days of receiving the notice of appeal. The Superintendent will then issue his/her decision in writing by completing Grievance Report Form B (Appendix B) and forwarding it to the grievant within seven (7) days of the meeting. The Association and the immediate supervisor shall be notified by the Superintendent in writing of said disposition.
Step II – Superintendent. If the NEA is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance by the immediate supervisor, within ten (10) workdays of receipt of the Step I disposition, or if no disposition has been made within the above stated time limits, the NEA may submit the grievance to the Superintendent. Within ten (10) workdays, the Superintendent shall meet with the grievant and the NEA Representative. Within ten (10) workdays of the meeting, the Superintendent shall indicate, in writing, his disposition by forwarding it to the NEA. The Superintendent shall report the grievance disposition to the Board no later than its next regular meeting.
Step II – Superintendent. If the Grievant or the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Step I, or if no decision has been rendered within seven (7) days after the meeting on the grievance, then the grievance, within seven (7) days, may be referred to the superintendent or the superintendent's designee. The superintendent shall arrange for a hearing with the Grievant to take place within seven (7) days after receipt of the appeal. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the superintendent will have seven (7) days to provide the Grievant and the Association with a written decision.
Step II – Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance, or if no disposition has been made within the above-stated time limits, the grievant shall complete Grievance Report Form, Step II within seven (7) school days after receiving the immediate supervisor's disposition or after the above-stated time limits have expired, and submit the grievance to the Superintendent or his/her designee. Within five (5) school days the Superintendent and/or his/her designated representative shall meet with the grievant and his/her Association representative. Within five (5) school days of the meeting the Superintendent or his/her designee shall indicate in writing his/her disposition by completing his/her portion of the Grievance Report Form, Step II, and forwarding it to the grievant. The Association and the immediate supervisor shall be notified of said disposition.
Step II – Superintendent. (a) Should the teacher be dissatisfied with the decision of the principal or immediate supervisor, the teacher may refer such matter on a written grievance form to the appropriate superintendent within five (5) working days of receipt of the reply from the principal or immediate supervisor.
(b) The complaint shall constitute a formal grievance at Step II.
(c) The statement of grievance shall indicate the name of the grievor; shall state the facts giving rise to the grievance; shall identify by specific reference the provision(s) of this Agreement alleged to be violated and shall indicate the relief sought.
(d) The appropriate Superintendent shall answer the grievance in writing within ten (10) working days of receipt of the statement of grievance.
Step II – Superintendent. 1. If the aggrieved is not satisfied with the response received from the administrator in Step I, he/she may within five (5) days of receipt of such written response, submit his/her written grievance to the Superintendent and request a meeting to discuss the grievance.
2. A meeting shall be agreed upon between the aggrieved and the Superintendent or his/her designee within five (5) days of the request. Such meeting is to occur within the next five (5) days.
3. The meeting shall be conducted in a manner as stated in Step I. Within five (5) days after the meeting, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall provide the aggrieved with a written response stating his/her position and suggestions for the resolution of the grievance.
Step II – Superintendent. A. If the aggrieved is not satisfied with the response received from the administrator in Step I, he/she may within five (5) days of receipt of such written response, submit his/her written grievance to the Superintendent and request a meeting to discuss the grievance.
B. A meeting shall be agreed upon between the aggrieved and the Superintendent or his/her designee within five (5) days of the request. Such meeting is to occur within the next five

If no satisfactory settlement is reached at Step I, the grievance may be appealed to Step II - Superintendent or his/her designated representative, within ten (10) working days of receipt of the decision rendered in Step I. The Superintendent or his/her designated representative shall arrange for a grievance meeting with the grievant and/or the Association and such meeting shall be scheduled within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Step II appeal. The purpose of this meeting shall be to affect a resolution of the grievance. The Superintendent or his/her designated representative shall provide a written decision, incorporating the reasons, upon which the decision was based, to the grievant, the Association, and immediate supervisor within ten (10) working days from the conclusion of the meeting.
