TEMPORARY FENCE. A temporary fence shall be built on the common boundary between Breckenridge and the City to minimize trespass. This temporary fence will be built after the rim stabilization project starts. The City shall pay for the fencing materials and Breckenridge will construct the fence. The fence will be constructed with 6 1/2 ft. steel posts and 3 strands of smooth wire. Breckenridge will own the fence. Until the temporary fence is constructed, the existing fences on the east and west sides of the property to be acquired by the City shall remain in place to restrict access to the site, and posted with “No Trespassing” signs. When the initial construction begins, City may replace a section of the fence on the west side with a locking gate for equipment access to the construction area.
TEMPORARY FENCE. As soon as the Phase 1 work begins, the existing temporary fencing in place is to be dismantled and stacked at one end of the work area and the Contractor’s temporary fencing is to be erected. Before dismantling the existing fencing the Contractor and the City’s Inspector shall agree on how many panels and bases are there. Xxxxxx Xxxxx 0 the work area must be enclosed by 6’ high temporary chain-link fencing; it may be partially removed while work is actively taking place, but it must be fully secured in place whenever workers are not present. The fenced area may extend continuously to within 10 feet of the next intersection north or south of Santa Xxxxx Avenue if needed. The fencing may be stood in the street gutter, so long as it does not present a hazard to passing vehicles. Prior to opening the Promenade sidewalk to the public, and for the duration of the project unless otherwise agreed to by the City Engineer, a 6’ high temporary fence is to be erected across the entire length of missing guardrail on the seawall using panels provided by the City. This fence is to be set approximately 4’ away from the seawall and is to be braced back against the seawall, and it is to be maintained in safe condition for the public to pass along the Promenade sidewalk. Once the 6’ fence is in place across the section of missing guardrail, temporary fencing around the Phase 2 work area may be orange plastic mesh construction fencing on posts set in moveable bases; bases must be stable enough to keep fence upright and in place under all conditions likely to be encountered. The Contractor’s temporary fencing must not present a hazard to pedestrians on any sidewalk at any time. Xxxxxx Xxxxx 0 the portions of Beach Boulevard and Santa Xxxxx Avenue blocked by temporary fence or by vehicles or equipment or supplies must not block driveways and must not prevent emergency crews from accessing the residences. The sidewalks on the east side of Beach Boulevard and on both sides of Santa Xxxxx Avenue must remain safely passable to the public. ON-SITE STORAGE: All materials, tools and equipment, and any incidental items must be secured so as to not be accessible to the public and so as to not be hazardous to the public. The Contractor is entirely responsible for preventing loss or other damage to the same. VEHICLE & EQUIPMENT PARKING: Access/egress at private driveways must not be blocked. TEMPORARY FENCE. The DB Entity and all subcontractors must entirely enclose the Contract area by means of woven wire or snow fence having minimum height of four feet.   • Temporary Roads As necessary to attain stabilization of roadbed and fill slopes of Temporary Roads, Purchaser shall employ such measures as out- sloping, drainage dips, and water-spreading ditches. After a Temporary Road has served Purchaser’s pur- pose, Purchaser shall give notice to Forest Service and shall remove bridges and culverts, eliminate ditches, out- slope roadbed, remove ruts and berms, effectively block the road to normal vehicular traffic where feasible under existing terrain conditions, and build cross ditches and water bars, as staked or otherwise marked on the ground by Forest Service. When bridges and culverts are re- moved, associated fills shall also be removed to the ex- tent necessary to permit normal maximum flow of water.
