Temporary Traffic Control Plans. The Design-Build Firm shall utilize Index Series 102 - 600 ( f o r m er I n dex # 600) of the FDOT Design Manual where applicable. Should these standards be inadequate, a detailed Temporary Traffic Control Plan shall be developed. The Design-Build Firm shall prepare plan sheets, notes, and details to include the following: typical section sheet(s), general notes and construction sequence sheet(s), typical detail sheet(s), traffic control plan sheet(s). The Design-Build Firm shall prepare additional plan sheets such as detours, cross sections, profiles, drainage structures, temporary roadway lighting, retaining wall details, and sheet piling as necessary for proper construction and implementation of the Temporary Traffic Control Plan.

Temporary Traffic Control Plans. 1. Prepare temporary traffic control plans sheets to be used by the selected contractor during the construction. Plans will be consistent with the Utah MUTCD and other applicable standards.
Temporary Traffic Control Plans. Consultant shall prepare engineered temporary traffic control (TTC) plans for use during construction of the Project for providing vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian access through construction work area(s) and to provide sufficient contractor work areas, except on routes limited to signing and striping improvements. TTC plans shall include construction phasing, if multiple stages are required, to maintain bicycle and vehicular traffic on the street during construction and/or detours. TTC plans shall include clearly defined Temporary Pedestrian Access Routes where existing pedestrian facilities are impacted, via details or references to ODOT’s Standard Drawings (TM800 series). TTC plans shall coordinate utility relocation work (if necessary) with the staged construction of the Project and be separated into separate stages as needed. TTC plans shall be prepared in accordance with the latest edition(s) of the Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the Oregon Supplement to the MUTCD, and the City’s 2023 Standards and Specifications. (Estimated five (5) plan sheets and three (3) detail sheets).
