Termination of Apprenticeship. 13.3.1 An apprenticeship is terminated when the apprentice completes the period of training, and other requirements, specified in the Vocational Training Order applicable to the course undertaken.

Termination of Apprenticeship. An apprenticeship is terminated when the apprentice completes the period of training, and other requirements, specified in the Vocational Training Order applicable to the course undertaken. An apprenticeship may be suspended or cancelled during its term by the Commissioner for Vocational Training in accordance with provisions of the Apprenticeship and Training Act 2001. Where an apprenticeship is suspended or cancelled, the apprentice shall be given two weeks notice of the date upon which the suspension or cancellation is to take place. Where an apprenticeship comes to an end, is suspended or cancelled, the apprentice’s termination entitlements will be banked into their account at the end of the next pay period. Payment for superannuation, and or any other allowances prescribed by this agreement shall not be made for the notice period where payment is made in lieu of notice.

  • Apprenticeship Program 62. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union.
