The Member’s obligations. 5.1.1 The Member must endeavour to pay all fees and charges due to the Network. The monthly payment for membership is: R800.00 (exclusive of Vat in 2020) which will be offset against the rebate earned and payable to the Member. 5.1.2 The Member must inform the Network as soon as possible of any changes in material information which the Member has previously supplied to the Network. 5.1.3 The Member must comply with the terms of this Agreement and all other documents related to the Network, which shall be provided to the Member. 5.1.4 The Member must maintain the membership admission criterion, as reflected in clause 4 above. 5.1.5 The Member, unless authorised by resolution, may not create obligations or contract on behalf of the Network. 5.1.6 The Member shall not engage in any activity which operates in conflict with the interests of the Network. All Members are furthermore obliged to notify the Network of any situation or activity which compromises, prejudices or is a conflict of interest to the Network.

The Member’s obligations. 2.1.1 During its membership and during the entire term of the Contract, the Member undertakes to provide SCRELEC with complete and accurate information and to keep it updated immediately, namely as regards the list of Principals listed in Appendix 1, when appropriate.
The Member’s obligations. (a) Immediately following the completion of a sabbatical leave, a Member is required to return to the University for a length of time equal to the sabbatical taken or to satisfy some other arrangement that is mutually acceptable to the Member and the Employer. (b) Upon his/her return to Saint Xxxx University, a Member benefiting from a sabbatical must submit to the head of the teaching department a report on his/her activities during the sabbatical. (c) During the sabbatical, the Member may accept bursaries for studies but not another paying job, except in such cases as are set forth in Articles 23.5 (b) and (c). (d) During the sabbatical, the Member and the University continue to pay their respective employee- employer contribution to the various insurance plans and pension funds. The calculation of these contributions is based on the full salary of the Member.
The Member’s obligations. 7.1 The Member undertakes to use the contractual trademark only in the registered format in accordance with Annex 1 of this agreement and only for the contractual products. In particular, the Member must use the contractual trademark in the colour scheme as shown in Annex 1. 7.2 For the purposes of this contract, use of the contractual trademark in any format which deviates from the registration shall not count as a permitted form of use within the meaning of this contract even if the deviations do not change the distinctive character of the contractual trademark. 7.3 The Member shall not be entitled, without the prior written consent of Medsteps, to apply for and/or register trademarks, designs, the right to use granted under this agreement or other rights in connection with the contractual trademark and/or the contractual products and/or arrange for the application and/or registration in any other way, neither in the Member’s territory nor elsewhere. The Member shall have no entitlement to the granting of Medsteps’ consent. Medsteps can make consent for registration of such rights subject to their being registered in its name. Any rights applied for or registered in favour of the Member in connection with the contractual trademark and/or contractual products may in no way be exercised against other members of Medsteps. 7.4 Should the Member breach the obligations in section 7.3, Medsteps shall, in addition to compensation and other entitlements set out in this contract, also be entitled to the prompt transfer of rights applied for, registered or which otherwise exist to Medsteps at the Member’s costs.

The Member’s obligations. The COMPANY will provide the MEMBER with the user name and password by which the MEMBER may gain access to the COMPANY's online facilities. It is the sole responsibility of the MEMBER to hold this user name and password in a secure fashion. Only the designated MEMBER is permitted to use the user name and password provided to the MEMBER by the COMPANY to access its online facilities. The COMPANY will not be held liable for any losses or damages, whether direct or indirect, arising either from the MEMBER's failure to hold his or her user name and or password securely, or from the MEMBER permitting a third party or parties access to the COMPANY's online facilities via the MEMBER's user name and password. Furthermore, the COMPANY reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove the MEMBER's account and retain the MEMBER's deposit if it finds reasonable evidence that the MEMBER's account is being used by by automated systems or by persons other than the MEMBER.
The Member’s obligations. It is the sole responsibility of the MEMBER to log in and check these online facilities regularly for communications and information updates from the COMPANY. The COMPANY will not be responsible for any losses or damages incurred as a result of the MEMBER's failure to do so. Furthermore, although the COMPANY undertakes to provide a reasonable level of support to assist the MEMBER in using its online facilities, it is the sole responsibility of the MEMBER to ensure that the MEMBER personally or the MEMBER's staff have the computer, software and Internet connection facilities required to use these services and to ensure that this software and equipment is correctly configured.
