Trainee Wage Rates. The minimum wages for trainees will be the appropriate rate provided by the relevant national training wage schedule, or its successor. Wage increases in clause 4.1(c) will also apply from the date the employee commences as a trainee. The Company may exercise its right to pay trainees adult rates of pay, upon management’s discretion. The Company will conduct a reconciliation every week for all Trainees to establish what the employees are paid under the Agreement when compared to what they would be paid under the relevant Award. If found to be paid equal to or lower, the employee will be back-paid for the difference in the next pay period, plus an additional 1.0% of the difference as compensation.

Under no circumstance will the trainee receive less than the minimum wage. Trainees' compensation will be not less than 60% of AKJSW specified in the contract for the first half of the training period, 75% for the third quarter of the training period and 90% for the last quarter of the training period. Small Business Mentoring/Training Program Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx Joint Venture (A-KJV) has created a Mentoring Plan to provide training and assistance to DBE, HUB and other small businesses to participate in the areas of goods and services; design and construction. As part of this plan, a Mentor Program will be established. Eligible firms will receive assistance from Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx JV DBE Coordinator and other Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx JV personnel to help them in bidding and performing work on the Loop 375-BHW Project.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
