Training and Leadership. A. Any Company IC who sponsors another IC into Company must perform an authentic assistance and training function to ensure their downline is properly operating their TRS business. Sponsoring ICs should have ongoing contact and communication with the ICs in their downline organizations. Examples of communication may include, but are not limited to, newsletters, written correspondence, phone, contact, team calls, voicemail, email, personal meetings, accompaniment of downline ICs to Company meetings, training sessions, and any other related functions. B. A Sponsoring Company IC should monitor the ICs in their downline organizations to ensure that downline ICs do not make improper product or business claims or engage in any illegal or inappropriate conduct. Upon request, such IC should be able to provide documented evidence to Company of their ongoing fulfillment of the responsibilities of a Sponsor. C. Upline ICs are encouraged to motivate and train new ICs about Company’s products and services, effective sales techniques, the Company Compensation Plan, and compliance with Company Policies and Procedures. D. Marketing product is a required activity in Company and must be emphasized in all recruiting presentations. In fact, the Company emphasizes and encourages all of its ICs to sell Company’s services to Customers. E. To promote both the services and the opportunity Company offers, ICs must use the sales aids and support materials produced by Company. If Company ICs develop their own sales aids and promotional materials, which includes Internet advertising, notwithstanding ICs’ good intentions, they may unintentionally violate any number of statutes or regulations affecting the TRS business. These violations, although they may be relatively few in number, could jeopardize the Company opportunity for all ICs. Accordingly, ICs must submit all written sales aids, promotional materials, advertisements, websites, and other literature to the Company for Company’s approval prior to use. Unless the IC receives specific written approval to use the material, the request shall be deemed denied. All ICs shall safeguard and promote the good reputation of Company and its products and services. The marketing and promotion of Company, the Company opportunity, the Compensation Plan, and Company products and services shall be consistent with the public interest, and must avoid all discourteous, deceptive, misleading, unethical or immoral conduct or practices.

Any Wellness Advisor who sponsors another Wellness Advisor (known as Sponsoring) into the Company must perform authentic assistance and training functions to ensure those in the Wellness Advisor’s downline properly operate their respective Magneceutical Health businesses. Sponsoring Wellness Advisors should have ongoing contact and communication with those in their downline organizations. Examples of communication may include, but are not limited to, the following: newsletters, written correspondence, telephone, contact, team calls, voice-mail, e-mail, personal meetings, in-person accompaniment to Magneceutical Health meetings, training sessions and any other related functions. B. A Sponsoring Wellness Advisor should monitor those in their downline organizations to ensure that downline Advisors do not make improper product, business, or medical claims or engage in any illegal or inappropriate conduct. Upon request, such Wellness Advisor should be able to provide documented evidence to the Company of his or her ongoing fulfillment of Sponsor responsibilities. C. Upline Wellness Advisors are encouraged to motivate and train new Wellness Advisors about Company products and services, effective sales techniques, the Magneceutical Health Compensation Plan, and compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures. D. Marketing product is a required activity and must be emphasized in all Magneceutical Health recruiting presentations. The Company emphasizes the need for Wellness Advisors to sell Company products to ultimate users.

Sponsoring Distributors should have ongoing contact and communication with the Distributors in their downline organizations. Examples of communication may include, but are not limited to, newsletters, written correspondence, telephone, contact, team calls, voicemail, e-mail, personal meetings, accompaniment of downline Distributors to Company meetings, training sessions and any other related functions. B. A Sponsoring Distributor should monitor the Distributors in their downline organizations to ensure that downline Distributors do not make improper product or business claims, or engage in any illegal or inappropriate conduct. C. Upline Distributors are encouraged to motivate and train new Distributors about Company’s products and services, effective sales techniques, the Company Compensation Plan and compliance with these Policies and Procedures. D. Promoting product is a required activity in Company and must be emphasized in all recruiting presentations. In fact, the Company emphasizes that all Distributors sell Company’s products and services to Customers in order to receive a commission payment.

  • Training and Development 3.1 Authorities will develop local 'Workforce Development Plans (see Part 4.8),' closely linked to their service delivery plans, which will provide the focus for the establishment of training and development priorities. Training and development should be designed to meet the corporate and service needs of authorities both current and in the future, taking into account the individual needs of employees. Local schemes on training and development should enable authorities to attain their strategic objectives through development of their employees. Training and development provisions should be shaped to local requirements and take account of the full range of learning methods. Such an approach should enable access to learning for all employees. The needs of part time employees and shift workers need particular consideration. 3.2 Employees attending or undertaking required training are entitled to payment of normal earnings; all prescribed fees and other relevant expenses arising. Employees are also entitled to paid leave for the purpose of sitting for required examinations. When attending training courses outside contracted daily hours, part-time employees should be paid on the same basis as full- time employees. (Assistance for other forms of learning, for example that directed at individual development, will be locally determined). Some training can be very expensive and authorities may require repayment of all or part of the costs incurred should an employee leave the authority before a reasonable time period has expired. The authority's policy in this regard should be made explicit. 3.3 Objectives for training and development programmes should include the following: • To enable Councils to attain their strategic objectives via investment in their employees. • To promote equity of access to learning. • To encourage employees to develop their skills and level of responsibility to the maximum of their individual potential. • To widen and modernise the skills profile of employees to maximise their versatility, employability and so, job security. • To enable employees to raise productivity, quality and customer service in pursuit of sustainable improvement 3.4 Authorities should establish local partnership arrangements, to include recognised trade unions, to develop their local workforce development plans. 3.5 The NJC endorses partnership provision such as the "Return to Learn" scheme. Authorities and the recognised trade unions shall encourage and support employees taking on the statutory Union Learning Representative (ULR) role. This will include agreeing facilities and paid release in accordance with statutory provisions. ULRs should be enabled to play a full part in promoting and implementing local training and development programmes.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with Employer policies and available resources. 9.2 Attendance at employer-required training will be considered time worked. The Employer will make reasonable attempts to schedule employer-required training during an employee’s regular work shift. The Employer will pay the registration and associated travel costs in accordance with Article 23, Travel, for employer-required training.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Transition Planning The AGENCY will be responsible for the development of the student’s Transition Plan, which begins upon entry and is completed prior to the student’s exit.
