Transmission of messages. The INSURERS will pay for the cost of transmitting any urgent messages that the INSUREDS require, as a result of any of the situations covered under this policy.
Transmission of messages. PostNord Strålfors shall indicate which technical requirements shall be applicable to transmission of messages by the Customer. These requirements are set out in the Customer Assignment. In these situations, PostNord Strålfors shall also provide specifications for communication and documents.
Transmission of messages. Zurich shall arrange for the transmission of urgent messages that are requested by the Beneficiary, in the sequence of the occurrence of any event covered by these guarantees. Beneficiaries who have used the transports set out in this contract are obliged to take the necessary steps to recover the unused tickets, and return the recovered amounts to Zurich. 5 Sending of professionals and access to other services (Table 5 of Particular Condition 809 Home Assistance - Guarantees and Limits of Compensation) Under this guarantee, and upon the Beneficiary’s request, Zurich shall ensure a permanent information service on telephone numbers for urgency or rapid repair services, located at the nearest place to his/ her home, or shall promote the sending of qualified professionals, in the areas specified below: Access to these professionals is totally free of charge, though the Beneficiary shall pay the requested services according to the table inforce in each annuity. The Beneficiary shall not be liable for the costs of house calls by technical services (24 hours), daytime technical services, and the costs of budgeting. The Beneficiary also benefits from a 10% discount in the services and charges mentioned in 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 of this Clause, as well as of a 90-day guarantee over all the services provided. In the cases of emergency services indicated below, and within the same annuity, Zurich shall bear the labour costs, up to a limit of two operations per year, and maximum of 3 hours for each of the operations. As for the remaining operations and, consequently, the hours spent on labour, they shall be supported by the Beneficiary according to the previously established hourly rate, which is annually revised by the CPI (Consumer Price Index). Emergency services are those that: a) Deprive the Beneficiary from the possibility of using his/ her home (uninhabitable house); b) Aim at containing a possible worsening of the damages; c) Can affect the home’s safety. The emergency service is limited to the following fields and coverages: 2.5.1 Technical services (24 hours): The national scope 24-hour technical services are essentially urgent, requiring a response time between 4 to 12 hours, depending on the geographical area. In Lisbon and Oporto and their respective areas, the presence of a technician is guaranteed in a maximum period of 4 to 6 hours, and in the remaining parts of the country between 6 to 12 hours, maximum, for: a) Plumbing b) Electricity
Transmission of messagesSubject to any restrictions set forth in the Annexes, myQuintet allows the Users to send electronic messages to the Bank. The Client’s contact person at the Bank shall receive and reply to these electronic messages. The Client and the Proxy (if any) however acknowledge that, to improve the processing of electronic messages by the Bank, other Quintet Employees may receive, consult, process and reply to the messages sent by the Users. Electronic messages are consulted, replied to or processed as soon as practicable and will not be treated as a priority. Electronic messages should not be used for: (a) sending urgent or deadline-dependent messages to the Bank; or (b) notifying the Bank of the loss, theft or wrongful use of the Security Code or the Card. Subject to any restrictions set forth in the Annexes, electronic messages may be used to instruct the Bank to carry out orders, transactions, transfers and other operations. Such instructions shall be given, processed and executed in accordance with existing contractual terms between the Bank and the Client and between the Bank and the Proxy (if any). The Bank shall be entitled to consider any instructions and communication received via myQuintet to be issued by a User authorised by the Client and to be at the Client’s initiative. The User acknowledges that the processing of instructions transmitted via electronic messages may not be carried out immediately for various reasons (such as, the need for a manual intervention by a Quintet Employee). Instructions may be inspected and checked by the Bank before execution. The execution of such instructions may also be subject to cut-off times. The Bank reserves the right to (a) contact the concerned User or the Client to request confirmation or additional information before executing the instruction; and (b) set limits or restrictions on the instructions that may be given via electronic messages on myQuintet in the Annexes. The Bank reserves the right to reply to electronic messages sent via myQuintet using other means of communications. The Users shall be responsible for carrying out the backup and archiving of messages exchanged using myQuintet as no automatic archiving service is provided on myQuintet.
Transmission of messages. Subject to the Professional being a Private Client, eKBL allows the Professional and the Authorised User to send electronic messages to the Bank (Secure Messaging). The Client’s contact person at the Bank shall receive and reply to these electronic messages. The Professional and the Authorised Users however acknowledge that, to improve the processing of electronic messages by the Bank, other KBL Employees may receive, consult, process and reply to the messages sent by the Authorised Users. Electronic messages are consulted, replied to or processed as soon as practicable and will not be treated as a priority. Electronic messages should not be used for: (a) sending urgent or deadline-dependent messages to the Bank; or (b) notifying the Bank of the loss, theft or wrongful use of the Security Code or the Card. Electronic messages may not be used to instruct the Bank to carry out Securities Transfers, Securities Transactions, Cash Transfers or Cash Transactions. The Bank reserves the right to reply to an electronic message sent via eKBL using another means of communications. The Professional and the Authorised Users shall be responsible for carrying out the backup and archiving of messages exchanged using eKBL as no automatic archiving service is provided on eKBL.

EXCLUSIONS This cover does not extend to: Xxxxxxx xx xx Xxxx, 24 28108 Alcobendas, Madrid Tel.: 00 000 00 00 a) The covers and services that have not been requested from the INSURERS and that have not been provided, through or with their agreement, except in cases of force majeure or of proven material impossibility. b) The losses caused as a result of fraud by the INSURED, the POLICYHOLDER, the BENEFICIARIES or the persons that travel with the INSURED. c) The losses caused in the events of war, pandemics, popular protests and movements, acts of terrorism and sabotage, strikes, arrests by any authority for crimes not derived from a traffic accident, restrictions to free movement or any other case of force majeure, unless the INSURED prove that the loss is completely unrelated to such events. d) Accidents occurring during the practice of official or private sports contests, or during training or in bets, or the practice of high-risk activities, even in a non-professional capacity, such as mountaineering, climbing, cave exploration, skiing, surfing, speed or endurance racing, aeronautical trips or ascents, powerless flight, hang-gliding, polo, fighting or boxing, rugby, free- diving, parachuting or other high-risk activities. e) The losses caused by radiation from nuclear transmutation or disintegration or radioactivity, as well as those derived from biological or chemical agents. f) Rescue operations from mountains, seas or the desert. g) Excluding those stated in point 4.1 of these Clauses, the illnesses or injuries that occur as a consequence of chronic ailments or ailments existing before the trip began, including any related complications or relapses. h) Illnesses or injuries occurring during the execution of manual labour. i) Suicide or illnesses or injuries resulting from a suicide attempt or those caused intentionally by the INSURED to themselves. j) Treatment or illnesses or pathological states caused by the consumption or administration of toxic substances (drugs), alcohol, narcotics or non-prescribed medication. k) Costs incurred in any type of prosthesis.

  • Transmission of business Where a business is transmitted from one employer to another, as set out in clause 4.4 - Redundancy, the period of continuous service that the employee had with the transmittor or any prior transmittor is deemed to be service with the transmittee and taken into account when calculating notice of termination. However, an employee shall not be entitled to notice of termination or payment in lieu of notice for any period of continuous service in respect of which notice has already been given or paid for.

  • Delivery by Facsimile or Electronic Transmission This Agreement and any signed agreement or instrument entered into in connection with this Agreement, and any amendments or waivers hereto or thereto, to the extent signed and delivered by means of a facsimile machine or by e-mail delivery of a “.pdf” format data file, shall be treated in all manner and respects as an original agreement or instrument and shall be considered to have the same binding legal effect as if it were the original signed version thereof delivered in person. No party hereto or to any such agreement or instrument shall raise the use of a facsimile machine or e-mail delivery of a “.pdf” format data file to deliver a signature to this Agreement or any amendment hereto or the fact that any signature or agreement or instrument was transmitted or communicated through the use of a facsimile machine or e-mail delivery of a “.pdf” format data file as a defense to the formation of a contract and each party hereto forever waives any such defense.

  • Delivery by Electronic Transmission or Otherwise Notwithstanding any provision in this Trust Instrument to the contrary, any notice, proxy, vote, consent, instrument or writing of any kind referenced in, or contemplated by, this Trust Instrument or the By-laws may, as determined by the Trustees, be given, granted or otherwise delivered by electronic transmission (within the meaning of the Act), including via the internet, or in any other manner permitted by applicable law.

  • Transmission of Data Customer understands that the technical processing and transmission of Customer’s Electronic Communications is fundamentally necessary to use of the Cloud Service. Customer is responsible for securing DSL, cable or another high speed Internet connection and up-to-date “browser” software in order to utilize the Cloud Service. Customer expressly consents to Oracle’s interception and storage of Electronic Communications and/or Customer Data as needed to provide the Services hereunder, and Customer acknowledges and understands that Customer’s Electronic Communications will involve transmission over the Internet, and over various networks, only part of which may be owned and/or operated by Oracle. Customer further acknowledges and understands that Electronic Communications may be accessed by unauthorized parties when communicated across the Internet, network communications facilities, telephone or other electronic means. Without limiting Oracle’s applicable obligations under the Security or Confidentiality Sections of this Agreement, Oracle is not responsible for any Electronic Communications and/or Customer Data which are delayed, lost, altered, intercepted or stored during the transmission of any data whatsoever across networks not owned and/or operated by Oracle, including, but not limited to, the Internet and Customer’s local network.

  • Delivery by Electronic Transmission This Agreement and any signed agreement or instrument entered into in connection with this Agreement or contemplated hereby, and any amendments hereto or thereto, to the extent signed and delivered by means of an electronic transmission, including by a facsimile machine or via email, shall be treated in all manner and respects as an original agreement or instrument and shall be considered to have the same binding legal effect as if it were the original signed version thereof delivered in person. At the request of any party hereto or to any such agreement or instrument, each other party hereto or thereto shall re-execute original forms thereof and deliver them to all other parties. No party hereto or to any such agreement or instrument shall raise the use of electronic transmission by a facsimile machine or via email to deliver a signature or the fact that any signature or agreement or instrument was transmitted or communicated through such electronic transmission as a defense to the formation of a contract and each such party forever waives any such defense.

  • Information Transmission The Provider, on behalf of itself and its respective Subsidiaries, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide or make available, or cause to be provided or made available, to the Recipient, in accordance with Section 6.1 of the Separation and Distribution Agreement, any Information received or computed by the Provider for the benefit of the Recipient concerning the relevant Service during the Service Period; provided, however, that, except as otherwise agreed to in writing by the Parties (a) the Provider shall not have any obligation to provide, or cause to be provided, Information in any non-standard format, (b) the Provider and its Subsidiaries shall be reimbursed for their reasonable costs in accordance with Section 6.3 of the Separation and Distribution Agreement for creating, gathering, copying, transporting and otherwise providing such Information, and (c) the Provider shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain any such Information in accordance with Section 6.4 of the Separation and Distribution Agreement.
