Transportation Due to Illness. When an employee takes ill at work the Employer will pay taxi fare for the employee to travel from work to home, if necessary. WCB Entitlement‌ Where an employee is entitled to WCB coverage for illness or injury, sick leave pay will not be paid. During the waiting period to receive WCB payments the employee may borrow from accumulated sick leave credits with the clear understanding that the amount of sick leave used shall be deducted from the paycheque(s) that follows receipt of WCB payment(s). Upon receipt of the borrowed sick leave repayments, sick leave accrual shall be reinstated. MUNICIPAL PENSION PLAN‌ Entitlement Permanent employees are covered under the provisions of the Municipal Pension Plan.
