Uniforms and Boots. Annually, employees shall be provided with five (5) uniforms or four (4) uniforms and one set of coveralls and shall wear said uniforms while working as an employee. Additionally, employees shall be provided with rain gear (boots, raincoat, rain pants) as necessary and a jacket in school years that begin with even numbers. In lieu of rain gear, an employee may request one pair of insulated bib overalls. Employees shall be reimbursed up to two hundred dollars ($200.00) one time each school year for the purchase of appropriate work boots.

Uniforms and Boots. During the first full pay period in April 2024 and in April of each succeeding year of this Agreement, employees shall receive a uniform and boot allowance of $1150.00. The items to be purchased by the employee shall consist of the following: work boots, pants durable cotton/polyester (including denim) and/or shorts, green or yellow Tee shirts or polo shirts (at least one (1) black polo shirt), coats, green or yellow sweatshirts (with or without hoods), jackets, and winter weather clothing, including Carhartt or similar winter clothing. Shorts may be worn with prior approval of the Public Service Director, which shall not be unreasonably denied. The City's logo will be affixed to Tee shirts and polo shirts at the employee's expense. All clothing, hats and ball caps worn by employees during working hours shall not have any political, alcohol or offensive logos or language. Employees shall be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all items of clothing in good condition, taking into consideration normal wear and tear. All employees shall report to work each day in a clean uniform.

  • UNIFORMS AND TOOLS A. The cost of the purchase, lease, or rental of uniforms, tools, and protective gear, identification badges, emblems, and cards required by the District shall be borne by the District. The aforementioned articles shall be retained as property of the District and shall be surrendered upon demand.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 28.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer.

Proper maintenance of uniforms is an employee responsibility unless they are currently maintained by the Employer or unless required by statute or other regulatory agencies because of contamination (see Article 22). Uniforms shall not be used for off-duty activity by the employee.

  • Flexible Work Arrangements (7.01) The Employer agrees to consider requests from full-time employees who wish to work part-time hours and share a full-time position with another employee. The Employer will have the sole discretion in deciding whether to agree to such requests. The terms and conditions applicable to any such arrangement shall be agreed upon by the Employer, Union and the employees affected. It is understood that any such arrangements will be for a limited period of time. Where necessary, the Union will agree to the employment of a temporary employee for the duration of such an arrangement.
