Vacation Advances. Vacation may not be taken in advance except under extenuating circumstances, in which case the appropriate Executive Administrator or designee may authorize said request.
Vacation Advances. Employees shall not be allowed to take paid vacation in advance of being earned. However, 9, 10, 11 month employees who are refused vacation due to departmental needs shall be allowed to treat the necessary amount of their unpaid time as vacation time rather than lose vacation that cannot be carried over because of limits on carryover.

Vacation Advances. When taking a vacation week, employees will receive a vacation pay advance to comply with The Employment Insurance Regulations.
