Voluntary Civil Service Leave. 1. An employee who performs emergency duty as a volunteer firefighter, reserve peace officer, or emergency rescue personnel generally may take unpaid time off to perform emergency duty when required. An employee who performs emergency duty as a volunteer firefighter, reserve peace officer, or emergency rescue may take up to a total of fourteen (14) days of unpaid leave per calendar year to engage in fire, law enforcement, or emergency rescue training.

Voluntary Civil Service Leave. Employees must be granted time off without pay to perform emergency duty as a Volunteer firefighter, reserve peace officer, emergency rescue personnel with approval by the Associate Director for Facilities and Infrastructure, or the Security Director. An employee who performs emergency duty as a firefighter must be allowed up to a total of 14 days of unpaid leave per calendar year to engage in fire or law enforcement training. An employee who performs duty as a member of the Civil Air Patrol must be allowed up to ten (10) days of unpaid leave per calendar year to respond to an emergency operational mission of the California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. Employees who perform search and rescue or disaster control work as members of any other organized civil unit may be granted time off without pay for the time required to be away during scheduled working hours when approved by the Associate Director for Facilities and Infrastructure, or the Security Director.

  • Civil Service 2.6.1 The Government of National Unity shall also ensure that the National Civil Service, notably at the senior and middle-levels, is representative of the people of Sudan. In so doing, the following principles shall be recognized:-

  • Civil Penalty Within ten (10) days of the Effective Date, West Xxxxxxx shall issue two (2) separate checks for the Civil Penalty payment to (a) “OEHHA” in the amount of $375.00; and to (b) “Xxxxxxx & Xxxxx in Trust for Xxxxxxxx” in the amount of $125.00. The Civil Penalty payment(s) shall be delivered to the addresses identified in § 3.2, below.

  • CIVIL SERVICE RULES Nothing in Section 1 and 2 of this Article shall limit the Director of Human Resources or the appointing authority’s discretion to implement layoffs pursuant to Civil Service Rules.

  • Legal Leave 19.12.1The University shall grant leave of absence with pay to a member of faculty who is called to serve as a juror or a witness in a court of law in a matter in which he/she is not a party or an accused.

  • Civil Fines Pursuant to Health & Safety Code §25249.7(b), and in settlement of all claims alleged in the notice, the Settling Entity agrees to pay a total of $1,600 in civil fines. This payment will be allocated in accordance with Health & Safety Code §25249.12(c)(1) and (d), with 75% of the penalty amount paid to the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and the remaining 25% of the penalty amount paid to and retained by Xxxxxxx.
