VSEA TIME OFF. The VSEA shall provide written notice to the ODG of the date and time of those meetings outlined in subsections (a) through (g) below with as much notice as possible. Subject to the efficient conduct of ODG business, which shall prevail in any instance of conflict, permission for reasonable time off during normal working hours without loss of pay and without charge to accrued benefits shall not be unreasonably withheld in the following instances to: (a) Members of the VSEA Board of Trustees to attend 12 regular Trustee meetings and up to two special Trustee meetings a year; in the events that an ODG employee who serves on the VSEA Board of Trustees cannot attend a Trustee meeting, this Board member shall be permitted to designate an ODG alternate to attend in their absence and this alternate will be afforded the same rights provided in this paragraph. (b) Members of the Council for attendance at any of the four regular council meetings per year. The ODG may grant permission for attendance at not more than one additional special meeting. (c) Unit Chairperson, up to 40 hours per contract period, subject to the operating needs of the ODG for conduct of unit Labor Relations/Contract Administration business; (d) Members of VSEA standing committees will be permitted to attend ten meetings per year; (e) Unit executive committee members will be given time off to attend five meetings per year; (f) Stewards for the processing and handling of complaints and grievances, including necessary appearances at all steps of the grievance procedure; up to 20 hours per xxxxxxx per year shall be considered a reasonable time for processing and handling of complaints and grievances, and may be extended by mutual agreement in any instance; (g) Any of the above or to chapter officers or to bargaining team members for the purpose of attending training sessions. An employee will not be permitted more than a total of 120 hours time off, except that a member of the VSEA Board of Trustees will be permitted no more than 160 hours time off in any fiscal year under paragraph 3, subsections a-g above. In any such instances, under this Section, such employees shall coordinate their absences from work to minimize the adverse impact on the efficient conduct of ODG business and in all cases must secure advance permission from appropriate supervisors and shall give the ODG as much prior notice of any such meetings as possible, including concurrent written notice to ODG Heads when VSEA sends a no...

VSEA TIME OFF. Subject to the efficient conduct of State business, which shall prevail in any instance of conflict, permission for reasonable time off during normal working hours without loss of pay and without charge to accrued benefits shall not be unreasonably withheld. The VSEA shall provide written notice of the meeting and date to the Department of Human Resources, for those meetings outlined in subsection (a) – (e) below, with as much notice as possible. Subject to the foregoing, time off shall be granted in the following instances to: (a) Members of the VSEA Board of Trustees to attend twelve (12) regular Trustee meetings and up to two (2) special Trustee meetings a year. (b) Members of the Council for attendance at any of the four (4) regular council meetings per year. The State may grant permission for attendance at not more than one (1) additional special meeting. (c) Unit Chairperson, up to forty (40) hours per year, subject to the operating needs of the department for conduct of unit Labor Relations/Contract Administration business; (d) Stewards for the processing and handling of complaints and grievances, including necessary appearances at all steps of the grievance procedure; up to one hundred (100) hours per xxxxxxx per year shall be considered a reasonable time for processing and handling of complaints and grievances, and may be extended by mutual agreement in any instance; Non-Management Unit: up to ninety-five (95) stewards (e) Stewards for attendance at up to four (4) training sessions per fiscal year.   • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity. Accordingly, time off may be taken with the consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. In considering the approval to have time off, the Parties will have regard to the current works programme and the urgency of the reason for time off. In the event that time off is to be taken, it will be the employee’s obligation to advise the Company in advance or as soon as practicable on the day of absence, recognising that unplanned absences can cause costly disruption to programmed works and are a major source of annoyance for the company, other employees and clients. The object of offering flexible working hours is that in return employees will take very seriously their obligation to turn up when they are expected. In view of the disruption caused by unplanned and or notified absenteeism, repeated failure to observe the protocol for time off would constitute misconduct.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Accrued Salary and Paid Time Off On the Separation Date, the Company will pay you all accrued salary, and all accrued and unused vacation earned through the Separation Date, subject to standard payroll deductions and withholdings. You are entitled to these payments by law.

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave During the Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave in accordance with the Company's standard policies for its senior executive officers.
