The Washing Time clause defines the specific period allocated for cleaning or washing activities within a contractual arrangement. Typically, this clause outlines when and how long washing operations may occur, such as designating certain hours for cleaning machinery, vehicles, or facilities, and may set requirements for notifying relevant parties or adhering to safety protocols. Its core practical function is to ensure that washing activities are conducted in an orderly and predictable manner, minimizing disruptions and clarifying responsibilities between parties.
Washing Time. The employer shall provide sufficient facilities for washing and five minutes shall be allowed before lunch and before finishing time to enable employees to wash and put away gear.
