Welfare Benefit Trust. The District shall contribute the sum of $1,250 per annum per participating unit member towards a welfare benefit trust administered by the Association; effective September 1, 2013 the District shall contribute the sum of $1,325 per annum per participating unit member towards a welfare benefit trust administered by the Association; effective September 1, 2014 the District shall contribute the sum of $1,400 per annum per participating unit member towards a welfare benefit trust administered by the Association; and effective September 1, 2015 the District shall contribute the sum of $1,475 per annum per participating unit member towards a welfare benefit trust administered by the Association. The funding shall occur on a quarterly basis by July 15th, October 1st, January 1st and April 1st each year. The quarterly funding shall be based upon the full-time equivalent count of bargaining unit members on payroll on the last payroll date immediately preceding the quarters as described above; provided, however, that where a substitute unit member is replacing another unit member on paid leave, there will be only one (1)
Welfare Benefit Trust. 5.1.1 The District shall fund a Welfare Benefit Trust Fund established under the auspices of the Association, as follows: Effective July 1, 2023: $1,500 per unit member per annum. Effective July 1, 2024: $1,500 per unit member per annum. Effective July 1, 2025: $1,500 per unit member per annum. 5.1.2 District will make payment in four (4) equal annual installments each due on the first day of the quarter. 5.1.3 The Association agrees to allow the District the right to audit the books and records of the Welfare Benefit Trust Fund periodically. The Association shall indemnify the District against damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from litigations commenced against the District pursuant to this provision of the Agreement, except for suits to require the timely payment of the contributions referenced above.
Welfare Benefit Trust. The District shall contribute the following amounts to a welfare benefit trust fund for each unit member of the STA who is eligible for health insurance benefits: Effective July 1, 2019: $1,480 Effective July 1, 2021: $1,530
Welfare Benefit Trust. 10.7.1 The Association shall create a trust fund pursuant to the rules of the Department of Labor and the laws of the State of New York and upon presentation by the Association to the District of documentation of a legal trust the District shall pay annually an amount equal to: Effective July 1, 2017: $805 per eligible employee Effective July 1, 2025: $855 per eligible employee 10.7.2 An eligible employee is an employee working four hours or more per day in a regular appointed position. 10.7.3 One quarter of the annual amount shall be paid within fifteen days of the quarter’s end (9/15, 12/15, 3/15 & 6/15). Such payments shall be adjusted according to the total number of eligible employees as of the first day of the month of each quarterly payment.
Welfare Benefit Trust. The District shall contribute the funds required to provide for participation in the Hyde Park Teachers’ Association Welfare Fund for members of this bargaining unit, provided however, that the per capita contribution for this bargaining unit shall not exceed the per capita District contribution for members of the Hyde Park Teachers’ Association. In the event that participation in the Hyde Park Teachers’ Association Welfare Fund is not allowed, the parties will immediately reopen negotiations for the purpose of selecting alternative dental insurance and other insurance plans which may be mutually agreeable.

  • Welfare Benefit Plans During the Employment Period, the Executive and/or the Executive's family, as the case may be, shall be eligible for participation in and shall receive all benefits under welfare benefit plans, practices, policies and programs provided by the Company and its affiliated companies (including, without limitation, medical, prescription, dental, disability, employee life, group life, accidental death and travel accident insurance plans and programs) to the extent applicable generally to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies, but in no event shall such plans, practices, policies and programs provide the Executive with benefits which are less favorable, in the aggregate, than the most favorable of such plans, practices, policies and programs in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, those provided generally at any time after the Effective Date to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Health and Welfare Benefit Plans During the Employment Period, Executive and Executive’s immediate family shall be entitled to participate in such health and welfare benefit plans as the Employer shall maintain from time to time for the benefit of senior executive officers of the Employer and their families, on the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in such plan. Nothing in this Section shall limit the Employer’s right to change or modify or terminate any benefit plan or program as it sees fit from time to time in the normal course of business so long as it does so for all senior executives of the Employer.

  • Welfare Benefits Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, for a period of six (6) months following the date of the Involuntary Termination (and an additional twelve (12) months if the Executive provides consulting services under Section 14(f) hereof), the Executive and his dependents shall be provided with group medical benefits which are substantially similar to those provided from time to time to similarly situated active employees of the Company (and their eligible dependents) (“Medical Continuation Benefits”). Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such Medical Continuation Benefits shall be provided on substantially the same terms and conditions and at the same cost to the Executive as apply to similarly situated active employees of the Company. Such benefits shall be provided in a manner that complies with Treasury Regulation Section 1.409A-1(a)(5). Notwithstanding the foregoing, if Sempra Energy determines in its sole discretion that the Medical Continuation Benefits cannot be provided without potentially violating applicable law (including, without limitation, Section 2716 of the Public Health Service Act) or that the provision of Medical Continuation Benefits under this Agreement would subject Sempra Energy or any of its Affiliates to a material tax or penalty, (i) the Executive shall be provided, in lieu thereof, with a taxable monthly payment in an amount equal to the monthly premium that the Executive would be required to pay to continue the Executive’s and his covered dependents’ group medical benefit coverages under COBRA as then in effect (which amount shall be based on the premiums for the first month of COBRA coverage) or (ii) Sempra Energy shall have the authority to amend the Agreement to the limited extent reasonably necessary to avoid such violation of law or tax or penalty and shall use all reasonable efforts to provide the Executive with a comparable benefit that does not violate applicable law or subject Sempra Energy or any of its Affiliates to such tax or penalty.

  • Retirement and Welfare Benefits During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in the Company’s health, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement and welfare benefit plans and programs, pursuant to their respective terms and conditions. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the Company or any Affiliate of the Company from terminating or amending any employee benefit plan or program from time to time after the Effective Date.

  • Health & Welfare Benefits Executive shall be eligible to participate in all health and welfare benefits provided generally to other employees of the Company.

  • Executive Benefit Plans The Executive shall be entitled to participate in all plans or programs sponsored by the Company for employees in general, including without limitation, participation in any group health, medical reimbursement, or life insurance plans.

  • Sick Leave Benefit Plan The Sick Leave Benefit Plan will provide sick leave days and short term disability days for reasons of personal illness, personal injury, including personal medical appointments and personal dental appointments.

  • Welfare, Pension and Incentive Benefit Plans During the Employment Period, Executive (and his eligible spouse and dependents) shall be entitled to participate in all the welfare benefit plans and programs maintained by the Company from time-to-time for the benefit of its senior executives including, without limitation, all medical, hospitalization, dental, disability, accidental death and dismemberment and travel accident insurance plans and programs. In addition, during the Employment Period, Executive shall be eligible to participate in all pension, retirement, savings and other employee benefit plans and programs maintained from time-to-time by the Company for the benefit of its senior executives, other than any annual cash incentive plan.
