Legal Trust. A. The University agrees to pay the Alaska Public Employees Association/AFT Legal Services Plan (Fund), $5.54 per pay period per Local 6070 bargaining unit member in pay status in the pay period for which the contribution is made.
B. The University shall remit the amount due for the previous month to the Fund within fifteen (15) days after the pay date.
C. The Fund shall be sponsored and administered by the Alaska Public Employees Association/American Federation of Teachers (APEA/AFT) and the University shall have no voice in the amount or type of service provided by this plan, however, services provided by the Fund shall not be used in actions involving or in a position averse to the University. The Fund will attempt to obtain the maximum service possible for the employees.
D. This Article confers only the right to demand and enforce payment of the required contributions. Failure by the University to remit the required contribution does not give rise to any grievance or cause of action by the Union, its members or any other person for other harm or damages that might result from the failure of the University to remit the required contribution. The provision or retention of legal assistance under this Article is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Union and/or the Local 6070 bargaining unit member. Unless such actions are taken to demand and enforce payment by the University of the required contributions, Local 6070 and APEA/AFT jointly and severally agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the University, and any of its current or former Regents, officers, advisors, employees, or agents against any and all legal actions, orders, judgements or other decisions rendered in any proceeding as a result of the implementation of this Article.
E. The University’s participation in the APEA/AFT Legal Services Plan will continue through the life of the collective bargaining agreement. All contributions by the University to the Fund will cease on the first full pay period after that date.
Legal Trust. A. In addition to the wages paid under Article 13, the Employer agrees to pay the Confidential Employees Association, APEA/AFT Legal Trust Fund (hereinafter the Fund) $10.00 per month per employees (excluding non-permanent employees) in pay status in the month for which the contribution is made.
B. The Employer shall remit the amount due for the previous month to the Fund by the tenth (10th) of each month.
C. The Fund shall be sponsored and administered by APEA/AFT and the Employer shall have no voice in the amount or type of service provided by this plan. Services provided by the Fund shall not be used in actions involving or in a position adverse to the State of Alaska. The Fund shall attempt to obtain the maximum service possible for the bargaining unit members.
D. This Article confers only the right to demand and enforce payment of the required contributions. Failure by the State to remit the required contributions does entitle the Association, its members, or any other person to file a grievance or other cause of action for harm or damages which might result from failure to remit. The provision or retention of legal assistance under the Article is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Association and/or the member. Unless such actions are taken to demand and enforce payment by the State of the required contributions the Association agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the State against any and all legal actions, orders, judgments, or other decisions rendered in any preceding as a result of the implementation of this Article.
Legal Trust. The Municipality shall contribute twenty-five dollars and ninety-five cents ($25.95) per month to the IBEW Group Legal Trust Fund for each regular and temporary employee who qualifies for health & welfare coverage for the month.

This shall take effect upon date of sale and remain in effect hereafter. All payments due hereunder will be made by the Employer to the said Fund on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following the month in which said compensable hours were earned by Employer’s said employees. 57

Legal Trust. The Company will contribute $17.30 per month to the Alaska Electrical Legal Trust Fund for each eligible employee. To be eligible to participate in the Legal Plan, each employee must qualify to participate in the Health & Welfare Flexible Benefit Plan as provided for in the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
