WORK ON DAYS OFF. An Operator called to work on their day off shall receive a minimum of eight hours work. The pay for actual time worked shall be in accordance with Section 4 of this Part B. Pay for Tripper is to be as specified in Section 4.2 of this Part B.
WORK ON DAYS OFF. (a) Schedule Checkers must complete forty (40) hours of work at the straight time rate of pay before overtime pay is earned. OCB Schedule Checkers who work their days off are excluded from this subsection.
(b) An OCB Schedule Checker will be guaranteed twelve (12) hours pay time within an eleven (11) hour spread.
(c) A Schedule Checker laying off of his/her own accord will be paid at one and one- half (½) times the straight time rate for hours worked and the minimum of twelve
WORK ON DAYS OFF. 30.1 When an employee works on a scheduled day off, work performed up to and including eight
30.1.1 If work is performed or credited on one (1) day off in a week, time and one-half (1 ½) for all hours worked with a minimum credit of four (4) hours.
30.1.2 If work is performed or credited on consecutive days off, time and one-half (1 ½) basic for the first day worked and double (2) time for the other day off work in that sequence with a minimum credit of four (4) hours.
30.1.3 If work is performed or credited on one (1) day off in a week, double (2) times basic for all hours worked between the finish of the eighth (8th) hour worked and the twelfth (12th) hour worked.
30.1.4 If work is performed or credited on consecutive days off, double (2) times basic for the first (1st) day for all hours worked between the finish of the eighth (8th) hour worked and the twelfth (12th) hour worked; and two and one-half (2 ½) times basic for any other day worked in that sequence for all hours worked and between the finish of the eighth (8th) hour worked and the twelfth (12th) hour worked.
30.2 When the hours worked or credited on any day off exceed twelve (12) hours, all time worked or credited in excess of twelve (12) hours will be paid at two and one-half (2 ½) times basic for all hours worked.
30.3 The provision of Article 33 (Overtime) of this Agreement shall not apply to work on (a) day(s) off.
30.4 The provisions of Article 35 (Turn-around) of this Agreement shall not apply to work on (a) day (s) off.
30.5 All work on days off, in order to qualify for compensation must be authorized or approved by the appropriate manager prior to the work being performed.
30.6 Part-time employees are excluded from this provision unless and until a full-time work week has been completed immediately prior to such additional work being worked on the sixth or seventh day in a work week.
WORK ON DAYS OFF. If work is scheduled to take place on an employee’s day off, cf. the registered work arrangement, this shall be organized at least three days in advance unless special urgency prevails. The employee shall by no means be made to suffer if he is not prepared to work on his day off.
WORK ON DAYS OFF. Whenever an Employee is required to work on the Employee's scheduled days off, the Employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) the Employee's regular rate for all hours worked up to eight (8) hours on the Employee's first (1st) day, and double the Employee's regular rate for all hours worked on the Employee's second (2nd) day off. WORK ON DAYS OFF. (a) An Operator working a Voluntary Call Back (VCB) assignment shall be eligible for a "VCB overtime rate" of one and one-half (1½) times the straight time hours for all work performed, with a minimum of twelve (12) hours pay time, providing the Operator has not been absent during the seven (7) calendar days (exclusive of their scheduled or assigned days off) immediately prior to such work on his/her day off. Operators who have been absent during the seven (7) previous calendar days (exclusive of their scheduled or assigned days off) shall not be guaranteed the twelve (12) hours minimum pay time but will be paid one and one-half (1½) times their straight time hours for all work they perform that is in excess of eight (8) hours. WORK ON DAYS OFF. 29.1 When an employee works on a scheduled day off, work performed on that day shall be compensated as follows:
(a) On the first day off one-and-one-half (1½) times the basic rate for the first four (4) hours worked; and two (2) times the basic rate for hours worked in excess of four (4) hours overtime, with a minimum credit of four (4) hours.
(b) On the second day off provided the first day off has been worked, an additional one-half (½) times the basic rate in addition to the rates outlined in (a) above, with a minimum credit of four (4) hours.
(c) In the event an employee is entitled to more than two (2) consecutive days off and work is performed on more than one (1) of such days off, all work on any subsequent days off shall be paid at an additional one-half (½) times the basic rate, with a minimum credit of four (4) hours.
29.2 Nothing herein precludes an employee and his/her supervisor from mutually agreeing to change an employee’s scheduled day off and in such case the overtime provision as in Article 29.1 shall not apply.
29.3 This Article is subject to Article 35.3 with respect to work on a paid holiday.
