Work Performed on District Property. Contractor shall comply with the following: Identification: When performing work on District property, Contractor shall be in appropriate work attire (or uniform, if applicable) at all times. If Contractor does not have a specific uniform, then Contractor shall provide identification tags and/or any other mechanism the District in its sole discretion determines is required to easily identify Contractor. Contractor and its employees shall (i) display on their clothes the above-mentioned identifying information and (ii) carry photo identification and present it to any District personnel upon request. If Contractor cannot produce such identification or if the identification is unacceptable to District, District may provide at its sole discretion, District-produced identification tags to Contractor, costs to be borne by Contractor.
Work Performed on District Property. Contractor performing Work on District property or for District shall comply with District policies at all times. In all cases personnel on school property shall carry photo identification, acceptable to District, and shall present such identification to anyone on request. Contractor shall ensure that all Project personnel are in compliance with applicable identification, uniform, and badge requirements for all Project personnel at no cost to District. As required by schools and other District locations, District may require personnel to sign in before entering District properties. No Smoking. Smoking or other use of tobacco is prohibited on all District property. No Drugs. District’s property sites are all designated drug-free zones, which designation is enforced by the Portland Police Bureau. No Weapons or Firearms. Except as provided by Oregon statutes and District policy, weapons and firearms are prohibited on District’s property. Confidentiality. Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) prohibits the re-disclosure of confidential student information. Contractor agrees to protect the confidentiality of student education records, including personally identifiable information found in education records, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (20 U.S.C. Sec. 1232g) and its implementing regulations (34 C.F.R. Part 99), collectively “FERPA.” Contractor acknowledges that information disclosed to Contractor by District may include records that are subject to FERPA, and that to the extent this is the case, Contractor will be considered a “school official” as that term is used in FERPA. As such, Contractor agrees that it will hold all information disclosed to it in strict confidence and will not use such information except as required to perform its obligations under this Contract. Contractor further agrees that will it not disclose or re-disclose any such information except (a) with the express written authorization of District, or (b) as required by law but only to the extent permitted by law and only in the manner prescribed by law. If Contractor receives a court order or subpoena seeking education records or information contained in education records, it shall immediately notify District in writing. If Contractor re-discloses personally identifiable information from education records on behalf of District in response to an order or subpoena under 34 C.F.R. § 99.31(a)(9), Contractor must provide the notification req...

  • WORK PRODUCT/PRE-EXISTING WORK PRODUCT OF CONTRACTOR Any and all work product resulting from this Contract is commissioned by the County of Marin as a work for hire. The County of Marin shall be considered, for all purposes, the author of the work product and shall have all rights of authorship to the work, including, but not limited to, the exclusive right to use, publish, reproduce, copy and make derivative use of, the work product or otherwise grant others limited rights to use the work product. To the extent Contractor incorporates into the work product any pre-existing work product owned by Contractor, Contractor hereby acknowledges and agrees that ownership of such work product shall be transferred to the County of Marin.

  • PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS Improvements placed on National Forest System land at the direction of either of the parties, shall thereupon become property of the United States, and shall be subject to the same regulations and administration of the Forest Service as other National Forest improvements of a similar nature. No part of this instrument shall entitle the cooperator to any share or interest in the project other than the right to use and enjoy the same under the existing regulations of the Forest Service.

  • B8 Property B8.1 Where the Client issues Property free of charge to the Contractor such Property shall be and remain the property of the Client and the Contractor irrevocably licences the Client and its agents to enter upon any premises of the Contractor during normal business hours on reasonable notice to recover any such Property. The Contractor shall not in any circumstances have a lien or any other interest on the Property and the Contractor shall at all times possess the Property as fiduciary agent and bailee of the Client. The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the title of the Client to the Property and the exclusion of any such lien or other interest are brought to the notice of all sub-contractors and other appropriate persons and shall, at the Client’s request, store the Property separately and ensure that it is clearly identifiable as belonging to the Client.
