Blood Donors. The Employer agrees to allow the necessary time off with no loss of pay to employees who are called upon to donate blood to the Canadian Blood Services.
Blood Donors. A weekly employee who attends a recognised clinic for the purpose of donating blood during working hours shall (subject to normal xxxxxxx requirements) be allowed the necessary leave of absence without loss of pay on not more than four occasions in each twelve months. Provided an employee shall not be entitled to payment with respect to time lost in excess of two hours on each occasion. An employee shall notify their employer as soon as possible of the time and date upon which they are intending to be absent for the purpose of donating blood.
Blood Donors. 32.1. A weekly employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for a period of two hours or longer if necessary, on each occasion and subject to a maximum of four separate absences for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year.
Blood Donors. 36.1 Employees who volunteer as blood donors to contribute to on-site City supported Blood Donor Organizations as approved by the Department of Human Resources designee will be authorized the paid absence necessary to accomplish this purpose. The Blood Donor Organization's personnel will determine what amount of time the donor will need from the point of donation until they are released to go back to work.
Blood Donors. 30.1 If agreed to mutually between the parties to this agreement a weekly employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for a period of two hours or longer if necessary, on each occasion and subject to a maximum of four separate absences for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year.
Blood Donors. 19.01 The Company agrees that any working time during a regular work day given up by the employee for emergency blood donation purposes shall be paid at the employee’s current regular hourly wage rate.
Blood Donors. 20.1 A full time or part time employee shall be entitled to be absent with pay for up to 2 hours, on not more than 4 occasions each year for the purpose of donating blood.
Blood Donors. (a) A full-time or part-time Employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for the period involved on each occasion and subject to a maximum of four separate absences of a maximum 1.5 hour per absence for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year. PROVIDED that such Employee shall arrange for his/her absence to be at the beginning or the ending of their rostered working hours.
Blood Donors. Employees who volunteer to donate blood to individuals or through the facilities of a blood collecting unit may be excused with pay for the time required to donate blood, not to exceed two (2) hours.
Blood Donors. Subject to the conditions below the Employer a full-time Employee may on no more than two occasions per year, take paid leave to donate blood.
