Accrual and taking of annual leave. (a) An employee is entitled to apply to take annual leave at any time and RDNS shall not unreasonably refuse such an application. (b) An employee is entitled to take periods of annual leave uninterrupted, save for the NES. (c) An employee may elect, with the consent of RDNS, to accrue and carry forward any amount of annual leave for a maximum of two (2) years from the date of entitlement.

Accrual and taking of annual leave. (a) Teachers (other than Casual Teachers) who work a full year are entitled to four weeks annual leave, which is accrued by term-time service and in accordance with the Teacher’s FTE. (b) Annual leave is to be taken during and in conjunction with Non-Term Weeks. (c) Provided the provisions of clauses 43.1(a) and 43.1(b) herein are met, the annual leave shall be taken as it accrues, and will be taken on that basis throughout each School Year. (d) In the event of a period of annual leave being re-credited in accordance with NES the re-credited leave shall be taken in accordance with clauses 43.1(b) and 43.1(c) herein.
Accrual and taking of annual leave. Annual leave will accrue on a pro-rata daily basis and shall be taken at a time convenient to both the Company and the Employee. All Employees must make an application for annual leave using the standard leave application at least two (2) weeks in advance of the actual commencement date of annual leave. Leave applications made with less than two (2) weeks’ notice may be approved at the Company’s discretion.

  • Taking of Annual Leave (a) An employee is entitled to take an amount of annual leave during a particular period if: (i) at least that amount of annual leave is credited to the employee; and (ii) the employer has authorised the employee to take the annual leave during that period. (b) In the taking of leave, the employee shall make written application to the employer, giving timely notice of the desired period of such leave. (c) Annual leave shall be taken in an amount and at a time which is approved by the employer subject to the operational requirements of the workplace. The employer shall not unreasonably withhold or revoke such approval.

  • Payment of Annual Leave Upon resignation, retirement, or dismissal of any employee in the bargaining unit, he/she shall receive a sum equal to the number of days of annual leave remaining to his/her credit, provided that any or all amounts may be applied to offset any amounts owed the state by the employee. In the event of death of an employee while in the bargaining unit, a sum equal to the number of days annual leave remaining shall be paid to his/her estate.

  • Accrual of Annual Leave (a) An employee shall accrue an amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 4 week period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/13 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee for the employer during that 4 week period. (b) Annual leave shall accrue on a pro-rata basis and be credited to the employee monthly.

(b) At the election of the employee such payments may be paid in accordance with the usual pay day relevant to the period of leave being taken.
