Air Quality Management. In conjunction with future Level "B" Plans, FCC shall develop a strategy for the Mesa del Sol Property to meet community air quality objectives and standards. The strategy shall be developed using methods, models and assumptions defined by the federally designated Air Planning Organization ("APO"), and with comment from the City of Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board.
Air Quality Management a) The Parties agree to cooperate in the area of air quality management on shared priorities which include: i. Air policies (including local air quality issues, transboundary air pollution, air zone management, airshed coordination, development of air standards, and cumulative effects); ii. Operational approaches (including approval processes, support systems, and regulatory compliance); iii. Science and research related to air quality; and iv. Monitoring and reporting, including data and information sharing. b) The Parties will establish a joint sector committee for cooperation on air quality issues under this Agreement. The Committee will serve as a consultative and coordination forum to address shared air management issues.
Air Quality Management. As required through the Environment Xxx 0000 and other associated Regulations the service will carry out the following: ▪ Routine monitoring of air quality standards. ▪ Seek to gather enhanced levels of information at high risk sites. ▪ Shared information on websites. ▪ Conduct public consultation for any action plans developed. ▪ Undertake research and produce reports based on the requirement of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Air Quality Management. The GSS EMP will contain a Component Management Plan in respect of the elements of the Work that may impact air quality (the “Air Quality Management Plan”). The Air Quality Management Plan will address the management and control of emissions of fine particulate matter, dust and smoke, to reduce potential effects on human health elements of the Work, and will comply with and implement the applicable requirements of Appendix 10-3 [Air Quality] and the CEMP, including: (a) Section 4.1 [Air Quality Management] of the CEMP; (b) Appendix A [Smoke Management Plan] of the CEMP; and (c) Appendix B [Air Quality Monitoring Program] of the CEMP. BC Hydro will monitor ambient air quality in the general vicinity of the Project, and report the monitoring results, in accordance with the Appendix B [Air Quality Monitoring Program] of the CEMP. BC Hydro will make the results of its monitoring available to the Contractor upon request.
Air Quality Management. Gaseous pollutants will be released from mobile mine machinery and compressor. Vehicle movement for transport of mineral will also cause pollution to air. Loading and unloading of waste and mineral cause emission of dust. Drilling machine and vehicle movement will generate dust. In order to mitigate the likely impact, the following management has been proposed: ▪ Dust suppression system/ water spraying would be adopted at the mine working and loading points. ▪ No overloading of the vehicles to prevent splillage of material ▪ Coverage of dumpers/ trucks during transpiration ▪ Use of sharp drill bits for drilling holes ▪ Use of delay detonators and shocks tube initiation system for blasting so as to reduce vibration, dust and excessive fragmentation ▪ Avoid blasting during nights, strong wind and temperature inversion condition ▪ Excavation operations shall be suspended during very strong wind condition ▪ Afforestation for control of dust ▪ Plantation of wide leaf tree, creepers and tall grass along approach road, and on safety barrier zone will help suppressing the dust. ▪ Face mask to be provided to the workers near excavator, drills etc NOx Nox is produced due to emissions from the operations of machinery and equipments. This can be controlled by proper and regular maintenance.

  • Quality Management Grantee will: 1. comply with quality management requirements as directed by the System Agency. 2. develop and implement a Quality Management Plan (QMP) that conforms with 25 TAC § 448.504 and make the QMP available to System Agency upon request. The QMP must be developed no later than the end of the first quarter of the Contract term. 3. update and revise the QMP each biennium or sooner, if necessary. Xxxxxxx’s governing body will review and approve the initial QMP, within the first quarter of the Contract term, and each updated and revised QMP thereafter. The QMP must describe Xxxxxxx’s methods to measure, assess, and improve - i. Implementation of evidence-based practices, programs and research-based approaches to service delivery; ii. Client/participant satisfaction with the services provided by Xxxxxxx; iii. Service capacity and access to services; iv. Client/participant continuum of care; and v. Accuracy of data reported to the state. 4. participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities as defined and scheduled by the state including, but not limited to data verification, performing self-reviews; submitting self-review results and supporting documentation for the state’s desk reviews; and participating in the state’s onsite or desk reviews. 5. submit plan of improvement or corrective action plan and supporting documentation as requested by System Agency. 6. participate in and actively pursue CQI activities that support performance and outcomes improvement. 7. respond to consultation recommendations by System Agency, which may include, but are not limited to the following: i. Staff training; ii. Self-monitoring activities guided by System Agency, including use of quality management tools to self-identify compliance issues; and iii. Monitoring of performance reports in the System Agency electronic clinical management system.

  • Air Quality To the extent applicable, Consultant must fully comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in furnishing or using equipment and/or providing services, including, but not limited to, emissions limits and permitting requirements imposed by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and/or California Air Resources Board (CARB). Although the SCAQMD and CARB limits and requirements are more broad, Consultant shall specifically be aware of their application to "portable equipment", which definition is considered by SCAQMD and CARB to include any item of equipment with a fuel-powered engine. Consultant shall indemnify City against any fines or penalties imposed by SCAQMD, CARB, or any other governmental or regulatory agency for violations of applicable laws, rules and/or regulations by Consultant, its subconsultants, or others for whom Consultant is responsible under its indemnity obligations provided for in this Agreement.

  • Quality Management System Supplier hereby undertakes, warrants and confirms, and will ensue same for its subcontractors, to remain certified in accordance with ISO 9001 standard or equivalent. At any time during the term of this Agreement, the Supplier shall, if so instructed by ISR, provide evidence of such certifications. In any event, Supplier must notify ISR, in writing, in the event said certification is suspended and/or canceled and/or not continued.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification. The program established by Contractor shall comply with any quality assurance/quality control requirements incorporated in the Contract.

  • Water Quality 8.1. The Supply shall comply with the quality standards imposed by the Act and the Water Quality Regulations, PROVIDED ALWAYS that where a particular standard is the subject of a legal instrument accepted or issued by the Secretary of State or the Chief Inspector of Drinking Water under the provisions of the Act or the Water Quality Regulations, compliance with the terms of the relevant legal instrument shall be deemed to be compliance with the relevant quality standard imposed by the Act or the Water Quality Regulations (as the case may be), in which case the Water Company shall provide the New Appointee with a certified copy of any such authorised departure or undertaking. Each party undertakes to keep the other party fully informed of any discussions which take place at any time hereafter with the Secretary of State for the proposed issue of a legal instrument and of the outcome thereof. 8.2. The Water Company shall act as a reasonable and prudent operator to ensure that the Water Company’s Distribution Network does not cause any contamination of the water in the New Appointee’s Water Distribution Network including suspending the Bulk Supply and, in any event, shall: 8.2.1. notify the New Appointee of the existence and cause (if known) of any contamination that it considers (acting as a reasonable and prudent operator) could affect the New Appointee’s Water Distribution Network as soon as practicable after the same have come to the Water Company’s attention; and 8.2.2. keep the New Appointee notified of the steps being taken to remedy the contamination. 8.3. Without prejudice to clause 8.1, the Water Company reserves the right to supply water of a different nature and composition or with different characteristics from that previously supplied where this results from the characteristics of the source or sources from which the Supply is taken, or the Water Company’s Distribution Network, beyond the reasonable control of the Water Company or if, in the due discharge of its statutory duty to supply water, it considers it necessary or desirable to do so acting reasonably and in good faith. 8.4. In addition, both parties agree to be bound by the provisions of the Water Quality Protocol or such modified version of such Water Quality Protocol as may from time to time be agreed in writing by the parties.

  • Waste Management o Participate in recycling using the Harvard Recycles receptacles provided. Recyclable materials include paper, cardboard, glass bottles, cans, plastics 1-7, as well as fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, chemicals, cartridges and electronics. o Designate a space for employees to leave surplus or shared office supplies to reduce redundant purchases. o Arrange for surplus furniture and other large office items to be delivered to Harvard’s Recycling and Surplus Center for reuse. Occupant Education and Engagement o Install or enable software that powers down computers when not in use, and ensure that all computer monitors have a “sleep mode” enabled. o Ensure that every employee has a power strip and turns the strip with an “off” switch for electronic devices. o Encourage staff to use task lighting that accommodates fluorescent bulbs, rather than halogen lamps. o Provide mugs or encourage staff to bring their own reusable mugs, plates, and utensils for the kitchen area. Keep the kitchen area stocked with dish cleaning supplies if a dishwasher is not available. o Start a physical or electronic bulletin board for “green tips”, news, and ideas. o Ask the Property Manager for training to properly operate controls, including shades, lights, thermostats, etc. o Advise employees to dress appropriately for the weather as building temperatures will be set at the lowest or highest end of the ASHRAE standard range depending on the outside temperature.

  • Enterprise Information Management Standards Grantee shall conform to HHS standards for data management as described by the policies of the HHS Office of Data, Analytics, and Performance. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Pollution Control The Employer and the Union agree to limit all forms of environmental pollution.
