Objectives and Standards. Each certificated employee shall participate in the setting of their personal objectives for student achievement, motivation, learning environment, professional responsibilities and growth, interpersonal skills, student success and teacher product. These objectives shall be consistent with Xxxxxxx Adult School goals and standards. Date to facilitate such evaluation of student achievement shall be secured through a number of procedures, which may include, but are not limited to pre- and post-tests and/or teacher observation of students.
Objectives and Standards. Document the City's institutional standards as well as external standards and criteria that influence the project design work. The standards and criteria in the following areas will be considered: Owner design criteria standards and preferences: Identify any Owner standards for design criteria or standard products. Discuss any Owner preferred equipment types, suppliers and vendors. Graphic standards: Standard drawing size/border, standard symbols/legends, CAD software standards (including software versions), requirements for electronic deliverables, standards/preferences for P&IDs, process flow stream IDs etc. Procurement policies: Bidding/procurement requirements, sole source restrictions, any existing master agreement for the purchase of materials, and equipment. Labor standards and policies: Design provisions for staff/visitors with accessibility limitations, any existing noise restrictions, any existing labor union restrictions, site security requirements, parking requirements etc. Equipment and materials: Preferences on indoor versus outdoor locations for equipment, preferred equipment types and suppliers, local control/local disconnect preferences (lockable MCCs versus local disconnect switches), standby power provisions, preferences regarding the use of adjustable frequency drives etc. Structural/Mechanical: Identify local permitting agency, obtain current local design codes and standards that are in effect, define permitting requirements. Electrical/I&C: Define redundancy requirements, identify primary contact at local utility, Owner telemetry standards and approaches.

  • Codes and Standards Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.
