Allowable Equipment Related Costs. (SHGP and UASI) The 21 allowable prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery equipment categories for HSGP are listed on the Authorized Equipment List (AEL). The AEL is available at xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/authorized-equipment-list. Some equipment items require prior approval from DHS/FEMA before obligation or purchase of the items. Please reference the grant notes for each equipment item to ensure prior approval is not required or to ensure prior approval is obtained if necessary. Unless otherwise stated, all equipment must meet all mandatory regulatory and/or DHS/FEMA-adopted standards to be eligible for purchase using these funds. In addition, recipients will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses for the requested equipment. Grant funds may be used for the procurement of medical countermeasures. Procurement of medical countermeasures must be conducted in collaboration with State/city/local health departments who administer Federal funds from HHS for this purpose. Procurement must have a sound threat-based justification with an aim to reduce the consequences of mass casualty incidents during the first crucial hours of a response. Prior to procuring pharmaceuticals, grantees must have in place an inventory management plan to avoid large periodic variations in supplies due to coinciding purchase and expiration dates. Grantees are encouraged to enter into rotational procurement agreements with vendors and distributors. Purchases of pharmaceuticals must include a budget for the disposal of expired drugs within each fiscal year’s period of performance for HSGP. The cost of disposal cannot be carried over to another FEMA grant or grant period. The equipment, goods, and supplies (“the eligible equipment”) purchased with funds provided under this agreement are for the purposes specified in “Florida’s Domestic Security Strategy”. Equipment purchased with these funds will be utilized in the event of emergencies, including, but not limited to, terrorism-related hazards. The Sub-Recipient shall place the equipment throughout the State of Florida in such a manner that, in the event of an emergency, the equipment can be deployed on the scene of the emergency or be available for use at a fixed location within two (2) hours of a request for said deployment. Unless otherwise stated, equipment must meet all mandatory regulatory and/or FEMA-adopted standards to be eligible for purchase using these funds. In addition, agencies will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses for the requested equipment. If Sub-Recipients have questions concerning the eligibility of equipment not specifically addressed in the AEL, they should contact their Grant Manager for clarification. Sub-Recipients should analyze the cost benefits of purchasing versus leasing equipment, especially high cost items and those subject to rapid technical advances. Part 200, including 2 C.F.R. §§ 200.310, 200.313, and 200.316.   • Allowable Costs Allowable Costs are restricted to costs that comply with the Texas Uniform Grant Management Standards (UGMS) and applicable state and federal rules and law. The Parties agree that all the requirements of the UGMS apply to this Contract, including the criteria for Allowable Costs. Additional federal requirements apply if this Contract is funded, in whole or in part, with federal funds.

  • ALLOWABLE COSTS AND PAYMENTS A. The method of payment for this contract will be based on actual cost plus a fixed fee. COUNTY will reimburse CONSULTANT for actual costs (including labor costs, employee benefits, travel, equipment rental costs, overhead and other direct costs) incurred by CONSULTANT in performance of the work. CONSULTANT will not be reimbursed for actual costs that exceed the estimated wage rates, employee benefits, travel, equipment rental, overhead, and other estimated costs set forth in the approved CONSULTANT’S COST PROPOSAL as referenced and defined in Exhibit “C”, unless additional reimbursement is provided for by contract amendment. In no event, will CONSULTANT be reimbursed for overhead costs at a rate that exceeds COUNTY’s approved overhead rate set forth in the COST PROPOSAL. In the event, that COUNTY determines that a change to the work from that specified in the COST PROPOSAL and AGREEMENT is required, the AGREEMENT time or actual costs reimbursable by COUNTY shall be adjusted by written agreement or task order to accommodate the changed work. The maximum total cost as specified in Paragraph “H” shall not be exceeded, unless authorized by written agreement.

  • Unallowable Costs Costs that are unallowable under other sections of these principles shall not be allowable under this section solely on the basis that they constitute personnel compensation.

  • Subcontract Costs Payments made by the Construction Manager to Subcontractors in accordance with the requirements of the subcontracts.

  • Unobligated and Unearned Funds and Allowable Costs In accordance with Section 215.971, Florida Statutes, the Grantee shall refund to the State of Florida any balance of unobligated funds which has been advanced or paid to the Grantee. In addition, funds paid in excess of the amount to which the recipient is entitled under the terms and conditions of the agreement must be refunded to the state agency. Further, the recipient may expend funds only for allowable costs resulting from obligations incurred during the specified agreement period. Expenditures of state financial assistance must be in compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations applicable to expenditures of State funds, including, but not limited to, the Reference Guide for State Expenditures.

  • Allowable Customizations The Student is permitted to alter or add files to customize the assigned Computer to her/his own working style (i.e., background screens and images, display settings).

  • Default – Reprocurement Costs In case of Contract breach by Contractor, resulting in termination by the County, the County may procure the goods and/or services from other sources. If the cost for those goods and/or services is higher than under the terms of the existing Contract, Contractor will be responsible for paying the County the difference between the Contract cost and the price paid, and the County may deduct this cost from any unpaid balance due the Contractor. The price paid by the County shall be the prevailing market price at the time such purchase is made. This is in addition to any other remedies available under this Contract and under law.

  • Treatment of Unallowable Costs Previously Submitted for Payment Defendants further agree that within 90 days of the Effective Date of this Agreement they shall identify to applicable Medicare and TRICARE fiscal intermediaries, carriers, and/or contractors, and Medicaid and FEHBP fiscal agents, any Unallowable Costs (as defined in this Paragraph) included in payments previously sought from the United States, or any State Medicaid program, including, but not limited to, payments sought in any cost reports, cost statements, information reports, or payment requests already submitted by Defendants or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates, and shall request, and agree, that such cost reports, cost statements, information reports, or payment requests, even if already settled, be adjusted to account for the effect of the inclusion of the Unallowable Costs. Defendants agree that the United States, at a minimum, shall be entitled to recoup from Defendants any overpayment plus applicable interest and penalties as a result of the inclusion of such Unallowable Costs on previously-submitted cost reports, information reports, cost statements, or requests for payment. Any payments due after the adjustments have been made shall be paid to the United States pursuant to the direction of the Department of Justice and/or the affected agencies. The United States reserves its rights to disagree with any calculations submitted by Defendants or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates on the effect of inclusion of Unallowable Costs (as defined in this Paragraph) on Defendants or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates’ cost reports, cost statements, or information reports.
