ARTICLE E HOURS OF WORK SCHEDULING. E.1 For purposes of defining tours of duty and calculating entitlement of overtime compensation except as otherwise provided in Section E.7, the normal day shall be a twenty-four (24) hour period which includes three (3) tours of seven and a half (7 ½) hours per day: It is understood that variations in the hours of work may occur in certain work areas. For purposes of determining entitlement to any tour differential premiums, the tour will be deemed to be worked on a specific shift when the majority of the hours worked fall within the defined tours as follows: 07h30 - 15h30 for the day shift 15h30 - 23h30 for the evening shift 23h30 - 07h30 for the night shift
ARTICLE E HOURS OF WORK SCHEDULING. E-1 Rest Periods and Meal Period The rest periods and meal period as provided for in Article 13.01 (a) and (b) will be scheduled at the discretion of the Hospital.

E.1 Regular scheduled days off shall be consecutive unless otherwise mutually agreed and the Hospital will endeavour to schedule two (2) weekends off in four (4) for nurses working on a normal daily tour. For regular part-time nurses, regularly scheduled days off shall be consecutive unless otherwise mutually agreed. The Hospital will endeavour to schedule (2) weekends off in four (4) for nurses working on a normal daily tour.
ARTICLE E HOURS OF WORK SCHEDULING. When a new schedule is approved by the Hospital, work schedules will be allocated based on the nurses' seniority. The scheduling of meal periods and relief periods for each nurse shall be determined by her Supervisor.

ARTICLE E HOURS OF WORK SCHEDULING. Extended Hours A longer daily tour may be introduced by the Hospital with the approval of the local Association, in accordance with Article The work schedule shall be posted ten (10) days advance of going into effect. Where practicable regularly scheduled days off shall be consecutive and nurses shall have at least one (1) weekend two (2) weeks off duty. Unless under circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Hospital a nurse shall not be required to work more than seven (7) consecutive days without receiving a day off. A nurse may be permitted to exchange her regularly scheduled days off with another nurse of her same category provided that such request is submitted writing to the Assistant Director of Nursing for approval and by the nurse willing to exchange days off or tour of duty. The Hospital will endeavour to accommodate such requests. Consideration shall be given by the Hospital to nurses who request to work on permanent afternoon or night shifts. Unless in circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Hospital a nurse shall have at least sixteen
ARTICLE E HOURS OF WORK SCHEDULING. E.1 The first shift in any day shall be deemed to be the night shift for purposes of scheduling.
