ARTICLE NO STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS. The Union agrees there will be no strikes and the Employer agrees there will be no lockouts during the term of this Agreement. The term "strike" and "lockout" shall bear the meaning given them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act as amended.

The Employer shall not cause or direct any lockout of its employees and the Union shall not cause, direct or consent to any strike or other cessation of work, refusal to work or to continue to work by employees in combination or in concert or in accordance with a common understanding, or a slow-down or other concerted activity on the part of employees to restrict or limit the operations of the Employer.

The Union undertakes agrees that while this Agreement is in operationneither the Union nor any employee shall take part in or call or encourage or support or condone any strike, picketing, or any suspensionof or stoppage of or impeding of or curtailment of or interferencewith work which shall in any way affect the operations of the Company, and the Company agrees that it will not engage in any lockout during the term of this Agreement. Any employee who participates in any of the foregoing conduct shall be subject to discipline up to and including discharge.

The Union agrees that during the term of this Agreement there shall be no strikes, shutdowns, slowdowns, stoppage of work, nor picketing of any kind or form whatsoever, or acts of any nature which interferes with the Employer's operations. Any employee participating in any of the above-named acts will be subject to discipline including discharge. The Employer agrees that there shall be no lockout during the term of this Agreement. The terms strike and lockout shall bear the meaning given to them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
