STRIKES AND. In view of the arrangements provided by this Agreement for the disposition of any grievance as herein provided, the Company agrees that there will be no lock-out of employees and the Union agrees there will be no strike, sit-down or other action which interferes with work or operations, or picketing of any or form whatsoever, however peaceful.

Where an employee expresses a concern for their safety inattemptingto cross a picket line on the Airport Authority's premises, the Airport Authority will ensure a safe access to the workplace. If employees are preventedfrom performingtheir duties because of a strike or a lockouton the premises of another employer, the employees shall report the matter to the Airport Authority, and the Airport Authority will make every reasonable effort to ensure that such employees are employed elsewhere, so that they shall receive their regular pay and benefits to which they would normally be entitled. The Airport Authority shall not assign any employee work normally performed by a tenant's employee who are lawfully on strike or locked out. If an employee refuses to cross any picket line, the employee shall not be paid for the time not worked and the employee shall not be to discipline provided such employee, if working ina essential capacity such as duty or winter maintenance,makes provision for and ensures that another qualifiedemployee reports for the duty at the scheduled start- up of daily operations.
