NO STRIKE OR. The Company agrees there will be no and the Union agrees there will be no strike, so long as this Agreement contin- ues to operate.

NO STRIKE OR. In view of the orderly procedure established by this Agreement for settling grievances, the Company agrees that there will be no lockout of its employees and the Local and the Union agree that there will be no strike or other collective action which will stop, curtail or interfere with work or the Company’soperations. The Local and the Union agree that if any such collective action takes place, they will repudiate it forthwith and require their members to return to work.

ARTICLE LEAVE OF ABSENCE Union Conventions, Workshops and Seminars: Leave of absence without loss of seniority shall be granted upon request to the Employer, to employees who are readily replaceable and who are elected or appointed to represent the Union at Union functions. The Employer shall pay the employees their normal wages. while on such leave, and the Union shall reimburse the Employer.

The dues deducted accordance with shell be remitted to the Treasurer of the Union at Mobile Drive, Toronto no later than the fifteenth day of the month following the month in which the deductions were made. Such remittance be accompanied with a list Identifyingthe employees, their Social InsuranceNumbers and the amounts deducted. The Union shall indemnify and save the Board harmless from any claims, suits, attachments and any form of liability as a result of such deductions authorized by the Union. A Liaison Committee shall be comprised of three (3) members appointed by the Board and three members appointed by the Union to discuss matters not covered by Agreement. The Committee shall meet at the request of party. When an employee is asked to perform work outside regular classification for a period exceeding three days, shall receive the rate of the job or own regular earned rate, whichever is greater. Any new rate of pay shall be effective the first day the employee commenced duties In the new classification. An Educational Assistant .who replaces the regular teacher who is absent for a temporary shall, subject to qualifications, be the occasional teachers rate for each day the teacher is absent. Except for mutual consent, no employee shall be transferred outside of a radius of thirty-five kilometres from current work location. An employee wishing to for a voluntary transfer shall notify the Board in writing on or before 30th of the school year...

NO STRIKE OR. For the duration of this Agreement: a) The Union agrees that there will be no strike as defined in Section I, Chapter Definition of the Manitoba Labour Relations Act, taken by the employees represented by the Union, and if such action should be taken by the employees, the Union will instruct the said employees to return to work and perform their usual duties forthwith and to resort to the grievance procedure established herein for the settlement of any complaint or griev- ance. Should there be a violation of this section, there shall be no discussion or negotiation of the matter in dispute between the said Corporation and the Union until normal work has been resumed.
