PROFESSIONAL DUES OR FEES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS 5.1 Any unit member who is a member of the Association, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees, and general assessments of the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct one-tenth of such dues from the regular salary check of the bargaining unit member each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for bargaining unit members who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately pro-rated to complete payments by the end of the school year.
DEDUCTIONS FROM SALARY A. The Board agrees to deduct from teachers’ salaries membership dues and assessments for the Xxxxxx County Education Association, the Maryland State Teachers’ Association, and the National Education Association as said teachers individually and voluntarily authorize to deduct through an appropriate written authorization form prepared by the Association. The Board agrees to transmit such monies promptly to the Association.
Deductions from Sick Leave A deduction shall be made from accumulated sick leave of all normal working days (exclusive of holidays) absent for sick leave.
Association Dues Deduction When the Association provides written authorization to the Employer for deduction of membership dues, the Employer will deduct from the employee’s salary, an amount equal to the dues required to be a member of the Association, depending on their permanent or non-permanent dues rate. The Agency will provide payments for all said deductions to the Association each pay period.
Union Dues Deductions It shall be a condition of employment for all Nurses in the Bargaining Unit, that dues be deducted from their bi-weekly salary in the amount determined by the Union. The deductions for newly employed Nurses shall be in the first pay period of employment. The dues shall be submitted monthly to the Union together with a list of the Nurses from whom the deductions were made.
Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.
DEDUCTION FROM SALARY A. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of its employees dues for the Flemington-Raritan Education Association, Hunterdon County Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the National Education Association, as said teachers individually and voluntarily authorize the Board to deduct. Said deductions shall be made in compliance with N.J.S.A. 52-14-15.9(e) and under rules established by the State Department of Education. Said moneys, together with records of any corrections, shall be transmitted to the Treasurer of the Flemington-Raritan Education Association by the 15th of each month following the monthly pay period in which deductions were made. Upon termination of employment of any teacher, the disbursing officer shall deduct any remaining amount due for that current school year. The Association Treasurer shall disburse such moneys to the appropriate association or associations. Teacher authorizations shall be in writing in the form set forth: AUTHORIZATION TO DEDUCT ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DUES Name Soc. Sec. # School Bldg. District To: Disbursing Officer Board of Education I hereby request and authorize the above-named disbursing officer to deduct from my earnings an amount sufficient to provide for the payment of those yearly membership dues, as certified by the organizations indicated, in equal monthly payments for all or part of the current school year and for the succeeding school year. I understand that the disbursing officer will discontinue such deductions only if I file such notice of withdrawal which shall be effective to halt deductions as of the January 1st or July 1st date. I also agree that upon termination of employment, the disbursing officer shall deduct any remaining amount due for that current school year. I hereby waive all right and claim for said moneys so deducted and transmitted in accordance with this authorization, and relieve the governing Board and all its officers from any liability thereof. I designate the Flemington-Raritan Education Association to receive dues and distribute according to the organizations named: Flemington-Raritan Education Association $ Hunterdon County Education Association $ New Jersey Education Association $ National Education Association $
Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: Rank Effective 9/1/2016 Professor $77,510 Assoc. Professor $62,520 Asst. Professor $51,325 Instructor $43,835 Senior Librarian $77,510 Assoc. Sr. Librarian $66,270 Assoc. Librarian $60,730 Asst. Librarian $51,325 Beg. Librarian $43,835 Faculty Members earning a base salary below the effective minima shall move to the new minima and receive any across-the-board and compression increase under Article 10 on his or her minima. Faculty Members who will receive regional campus increases under Article 10 of this Agreement shall receive those increases before any adjustment to meet the minimum salary required by this Article.
PROFESSIONAL DUES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS A. For Dues paying members, The District shall deduct one-twelfth (1/12) of dues and representation fee from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for twelve (12) months. Deductions for unit members who begin paid service after the commencement of the school year shall be prorated based on percentage of employment. Unit members serving one-half time paid service or less shall pay one-half of the dues and representation fee.
Dues Deductions 47. Dues deductions, once initiated, shall continue until the authorization is revoked in writing by the employee. For the administrative convenience of the SFMTA and the Association, an employee may only revoke a dues authorization by delivering the notice of revocation to the Controller during the two week period prior to the expiration of this Agreement. The revocation notice shall be delivered to the Controller either in person at the Controller's office or by depositing it in the U.S. Mail addressed to the Payroll/Personnel Services Division, Office of the Controller, Xxx Xxxxx Xxx Xxxx Xxxxxx, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103; Attention: Dues Deduction. The SFMTA shall deliver a copy of the notices of revocation of dues deductions authorizations to the Association within two (2) weeks of receipt.
