Authorised Uses. 5.1 The Subscriber may make the Subscription available on a network or through remote access technology. 5.2 The Subscriber may make the Subscription available to Authorised Users and Walk-in Users only. This permitted access extends only to the Subscriber and to such Authorised Users and Walk-in Users individually and may not be transferred or extended to any others. 5.3 The Subscriber shall make reasonable efforts to make Authorised Users and Walk-in Users aware of this Agreement and the terms and conditions associated with use of the Subscription, which are available from the RIL web site. 5.4 The Subscriber shall endeavour to ensure that storage, display, access and security measures conform to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 5.5 The Subscriber may include printed or electronic copies of items from the Subscription: (i) in anthologies (course packs) in printed or electronic form for sale and/or distribution to Authorised Users, for use in connection with classroom instruction only; (ii) in reserves (in printed or electronic form) set up by the Subscriber for access by Authorised Users in connection with specific courses offered by the Subscriber. Copies of items in electronic form that are included in online course packs or reserves will be deleted by the Subscriber no later than thirty (30) days after the end of term in which the related course concludes. The words “Reproduced by permission of Research Information Ltd” must appear on such material in such a position and typeface as to be clearly visible to the user. 5.6 If the Subscriber anticipates any use of the Subscription that falls outside the terms and conditions given in this Agreement the Subscriber must inform RIL in advance of the proposed user and obtain consent. 5.7 Authorised Users are permitted to: 5.7.1 copy (both in printed and electronic form) information from the Subscription and retain it as long as they wish for their personal use; 5.7.2 store information from the Subscription electronically, provided the use is consistent with the other terms and conditions described in this agreement; 5.7.3 distribute or otherwise make available information from the Subscription to other Authorised Users; 5.7.4 include information from the Subscription in a presentation provided the words “Reproduced by permission of Research Information Ltd” appear on such material in such a position and typeface as to be clearly visible to the audience; 5.7.5 include information from the Subscripti...

The material must carry the relevant credit, as specified in Clause 2.4. 5.2 In addition to Clause 5.1 above, Authorised Users, other than Walk-in Users, of information from Subscription are permitted to: 5.2.1 distribute or otherwise make available information from Subscription to other Authorised Users; and 5.2.2 include copies (including printed or downloaded) of information from Subscription: (i) in anthologies (course packs) in printed or electronic form for sale (as long as the sale is not for Commercial Use) and/or distribution to Authorised Users for their use in connection with the course of instruction only; and (ii) in reserves (in printed or electronic form) for access by Authorised Users in connection with specific courses offered by Customer. Copies of information from Subscription in any online or offline (for example, CD-ROMs) electronic form which are included in electronic course packs or reserves must be deleted or destroyed, as appropriate, by the Authorised User no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the term in which the related course concludes. The form of acknowledgement to be used is specified in Clause 2.4 above. 5.3 Walk-in Users are permitted to search the Subscription and to make a copy of their results in accordance with fair use/fair dealing principles for their scholarly, research, educational and personal use only. Authorised Uses. The Customer may: • allow Authorised Users to upload and integrate content, data or materials with the Software, and • allow the Authorised Users to use the Software for the Customer’s internal business and research purposes, and • allow Authorised Users to access the user documentation of the Software, and • create a reasonable number of copies of the documentation to support use of the Software. Any other use, in particular the creation of copies or reproductions of the provided licensed material, is only permitted with the prior written consent of the Supplier. Without such consent, the Customer may create copies of the licensed material only to the extent required for debugging or backup purposes. When using the Software, the Customer can make it clear that the Software of the Supplier is used in the Customer’s software environment by displaying the brand name or logo of the Supplier. The display of trademarks and logos is to be agreed with the Supplier in advance in textual form.

Authorised Uses. The present SOFTWARE License is limited to the Licensee which accepts the SOFTWARE “as is”. The SOFTWARE must be used on Licensee’s equipments located on its own premises only and cannot be used by persons other than those working for and employed by the Licensee.

  • Authorised Users individuals who are authorised by the Institution to access the Institution's information services whether on-site or off-site via Secure Authentication and who are affiliated to the Institution as a current student (including but not limited to undergraduates, postgraduates and guest students), member of staff (whether on a permanent or temporary basis including retired members of staff and any teacher who teaches Authorised Users) or contractor or registered user of the Institution. Persons who are not currently a student, member of staff, contractor or registered user of the Institution, but who are permitted to access the Institution's information services from computer terminals or otherwise within the physical premises of the Institution ["Walk-In Users"] are also deemed to be Authorised Users, only for the time they are within the physical premises of the Institution.

  • Authorized Use The Student Data shared pursuant to the Service Agreement, including persistent unique identifiers, shall be used for no purpose other than the Services outlined in Exhibit A or stated in the Service Agreement and/or otherwise authorized under the statutes referred to herein this DPA.

  • Unauthorised Use of Intellectual Property a) The Supplier/Service Provider agrees to notify Transnet in writing of any conflicting uses of, and applications of registrations of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks or any act of infringement, unfair competition or passing off involving the Intellectual Property of Transnet of which the Supplier/Service Provider acquires knowledge and Transnet shall have the right, as its own option, to proceed against any party infringing its Intellectual Property. b) It shall be within the sole and absolute discretion of Transnet to determine what steps shall be taken against the infringer and the Supplier/Service Provider shall co-operate fully with Transnet, at Transnet’s cost, in whatever measure including legal action to bring any infringement of illegal use to an end. c) The Supplier/Service Provider shall cooperate to provide Transnet promptly with all relevant ascertainable facts. d) If proceedings are commenced by Transnet alone, Transnet shall be responsible for all expenses but shall be entitled to all damages or other awards arising out of such proceedings. If proceedings are commenced by both Parties, both Parties will be responsible for the expenses and both Parties shall be entitled to damages or other awards arising out of proceedings.

  • Authorised Signatory An authorised signatory is required to sign this Data Sharing Agreement after all recommendations made by the Data Governance Board have been addressed and before the Data Sharing Agreement can be executed. This signatory has the role of accountability for the data sharing defined in this Data Sharing Agreement and holds the post of Principal Officer (equivalent) or above. The Parties hereby agree to their obligations pursuant to this Data Sharing Agreement for the transfer of personal data as described in this Data Sharing Agreement.
