AVERAGING PAY OVER A REDUCED WORKING YEAR. 76.1 In addition to flexible work provisions such as permanent part-time work, leave without pay (LWOP) or study leave etc, this scheme adds flexibility in the taking of approved periods of LWOP. Where an officer and CSIRO agree, the officer may elect to work a reduced working year of between 40 and 48 weeks. Officers may access the scheme for study, travel or other personal reasons. For example, those officers with school age dependents may wish to combine these non-work periods with conventional recreation leave so as to be at home during all or most of the school holiday periods.

AVERAGING PAY OVER A REDUCED WORKING YEAR. Where an Employee and XXXX agree, the Employee may work a reduced number of weeks in a working year. An Employee working a Reduced Working Year will have their remuneration averaged to take into account the Employee's elected period of extra leave, which may be between 1 – 4 weeks. The leave will be accounted for by a fortnightly deduction over the twelve month period rather than not paying salary when the leave is taken. This form of leave will be normally taken in blocks of at least five working days. It may be taken in conjunction with other leave. Approval for working a reduced year will be for one year only. Any extension will need to be agreed between the Employee and INGA. The Employee's annual leave entitlements will accrue during the course of the Employee's reduced working year on a pro-rata basis. An Employee whose pay is averaged over a reduced working year will be required to take their full entitlement of annual leave and the leave without pay component during the year. An Employee's eligibility to work a reduced working year will be subject to XXXX's policies as varied from time to time.

  • First Year Wage Adjustment Effective July 1, 2017, all salary ranges and rates shall be increased by two percent (2.0%), rounded to the nearest cent. The compensation grids for classes covered by this Agreement are contained in Appendix E-1. Employees shall convert to the new compensation grid as provided in Section 2.

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

Once your automatic xxxx payment arrangements are established, we will make the payments without further requests by you. If the payment due date for an automatic payment falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment may be made the following business day.

  • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties. Such adjustments, if any, shall be made pursuant to a lawful Board resolution. In such event, the parties agree to provide their best efforts and reasonable cooperation to execute a new contract incorporating the adjusted salary.

  • Second Year Wage Adjustment Effective July 1, 2020, all salary ranges and rates shall be increased by two and one-half percent (2.50%), rounded to the nearest cent. Salary increases provided by this Section shall be given to all employees including those employees whose rates of pay exceed the maximum rate for their class. The compensation grids for classes covered by this Agreement are contained in Appendix E-2. Conversion to the new compensation grid shall not change an employee’s eligibility for step progression increases.

  • Annual Adjustments Base Rent shall be increased on each annual anniversary of the first day of the first full month during the Term of this Lease (each an “Adjustment Date”) by multiplying the Base Rent payable immediately before such Adjustment Date by the Rent Adjustment Percentage and adding the resulting amount to the Base Rent payable immediately before such Adjustment Date. Base Rent, as so adjusted, shall thereafter be due as provided herein. Base Rent adjustments for any fractional calendar month shall be prorated.

  • Benefit Waiting Period Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for and takes leave pursuant to 21.1 or 21.2 and is required by Employment Insurance to serve a one-week waiting period for Employment Insurance Maternity/Parental benefits, shall be paid a leave allowance equivalent to one week at 85% of the employee's basic pay.

  • Salary Adjustment The salary of an employee returning from uncompensated leave shall be adjusted to reflect all non-discretionary increases distributed during the period of leave. While on such leave, an employee shall be eligible to participate in any special salary incentive programs.

  • TERMINATION ALLOWANCE In the event of closure of all or part of the Employer’s retail store, which results in the permanent lay-off of any employees, the employer agrees to pay each employee so affected, in accordance with Company policy, the following: • Less than one (1) completed year of service: according to Employment Standards (if any). • A year or more but less than five (5) completed years of service: one (1) week’s pay for each completed year of service. • More than five (5) completed years of service: five (5) weeks for the first five (5) years of service plus one and a half (1.5) weeks per completed year of service for each subsequent year up to a maximum of thirty (30) weeks in total.
