Annual Leave Entitlements. 26.2.1 At the end of each year of employment you will be entitled to four weeksannual leave. Any leave entitlement above four weeks may be taken in cash with your Manager’s approval. You must take a day’s annual leave for each day cashed up. 26.2.2 KiwiRail employees with 7 or more years’ continuous service will qualify for a fifth week of annual leave.
Annual Leave Entitlements. Annual leave will accrue at the rate of five (5) weeks’ paid leave per annum. An annual leave loading is included in the salary as detailed in Part B. Any Business Review Payment payable will continue to be paid during periods of annual leave.

Where a public holiday in the place where the team member works falls on a day of paid annual leave, that day or part day is treated as a public holiday (day or part day off with pay based on the team member’s base rate of pay) and will not be deducted from their annual leave entitlement.

(d) Additional Leave for Seven Day Continuous Shift Afternoon and Night Workers - In addition to leave provided for in clause 13.1(a) (i.e. 4 weeks), seven day shift workers, that is shift workers who are rostered to work regularly on Sundays and holidays, shall be allowed an additional one (1) weeks annual leave.

Annual Leave Entitlements. 25.1.1 An employee who is regularly rostered to work on all seven days of the week including Sundays and Public Holidays shall be entitled to six (6) weeks annual leave for each year of service. 25.1.2 An employee who is regularly rostered to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays and Public Holidays but does not work on identified other days of the week shall be entitled to five (5) weeks annual leave for each year of service. Annual Leave Entitlements. 26.2.1 Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement every employee shall at the end of each year of his/her employment become entitled to an annual holiday of 4 weeks on ordinary pay plus a loading of 17½ per cent. 26.2.2 Annual leave accrues on a monthly basis and is accrued on a calendar year basis up to 31 December each year. All leave accrued for the full year or pro rated for employees commencing during the year shall be taken during the next calendar year, before 31 December. 26.2.3 All annual leave is by mutual agreement. Annual leave may be taken as it accrues before the end of the calendar year, but subject to sufficient leave remaining to cover any close down period. 26.2.4 Annual leave which is not taken accumulates from year to year. Only under special circumstances and at the company’s discretion may any annual leave be accrued in one year be held over to the following year. 26.2.5 Where RDO’s apply and an eight hour day is worked 18 days of 8 hours annual leave apply. This totals 144 hours holiday pay, which equals 20 days of 7.2 hours. A 36 hour five day week equals 7.2 hours per day.
Annual Leave Entitlements. All annual leave entitlements, plus 17.5% loading, will be paid on termination, if not included in ordinary rate of pay.
